... I was checked into a room that hadn't even been cleaned there was beer cans everywhere the bed was a mess and the floors were dirty with dirty towels hanging everywhere it was a nightmare

We travel to Omak regularly to visit family there, but had never before stayed at the Omak Inn. That was partly because of negative comments from other relatives who had stayed there in the past. We're pleased to report that either the Inn has been upgraded or our relatives had absurd expectations. This was pleasant place. Some of the furniture and bathtub fixtures are showing signs of age, and the frame construction of the building does transmit noise from the room upstairs or kids running in the hallway. But the room and linens were clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable, everything worked, and the location is convenient to pretty much everything you'd want to do in Omak or Okanogan.

Have stayed here many times to see relatives. I have found the desk clerk and hotel staff to be very nice and friendly. We've never felt uncomfortable here...in fact have stayed here so often that i know my way around the place no matter what rm they give us. I did want to address some comments where ppl say when they went to the breakfast area there wasnt anything to eat or no choices. Breakfast is til 9:30 in the morn. If you dont get down there til that time (esp if they had a full house the nt before)there pretty much isnt much left..been there done that. Also mentioned in reviews was there werent many choices. Reallly?? Heres what they have..a waffle machine,toast,cold and hot cereal. Fruit cups,yoghurt,sausage and biscuits, hard boiled eggs,milk,hot cocoa,mini donuts,coffee tea,and im doing that from memory going thru the rm in my head..so might have forgotten something. If THATS not enough choices for you...you need to hit a restaurant instead. The motel isnt a full service restaurant..but it sure offers a lot to get you started out on your day. We always enjoy our stay here and will stay in the future.stay..you will too.

Housekeeping went above & beyond this stay. As a frequent flyer a beer cosy, for my water bottles, disappeared on my August 4th stay. My cousin who passed bought it for me & it was the last physical thing I had of him. We lived in Tennessee at the time. It was just a sentimental item but housekeeping on both trips tried everything to locate it for me. Excellent staff, as always. This stay ah noticed a ALOT less cigarette butts on the property. That was a nice surprise. Don’t understand Y smokers can’t field strip their butts and throw away the filters. Itz easy, ah can do it n ahm mostly blind! Those filters will b like cockroaches. Never dying. No way to treat our Mother Earth! Mahalo Nui Loa Omak Inn for another fabulous respite!

For an older property they’ve done a truly extraordinary makeover. The spa is clean, the hot tub, the best public one ah hv ever had da good fortune to git into. I’m a local in Okanogan, WA n ah will book when ah kin afford it, n go for 1 or 2 days just to utilize hot tub for mah 69 yr ole broken body. All the staff hv been welcoming, helpful and truly kind. I’m Handy-Capped blind. They’ve helped me navigate their property with my white tipped cane. You smokers out there: POLICE UR DURN BUTTS. U GIVE SMOKERS A BAD NAME DUMPING UR BUTTS EVERYWHERE. AH END UP PICKING UP AFTER YA’LL (what ah kin C anyway) CAUSE IT HARSHES MY JAM. There is a convenient, pleasant area for y’all to smoke. Plz b pono (look it up, itz Hawaiian). Plz try n pretend ur visiting a relative’s property. Wld y’all leave ur cigarette butz all over ur Auntie yard? Ur mom’s/dad’s. Nuff said. Jes stop being lazy n inconsiderate n fiel strip ur nutz, put the filter in the trash can. We hv enough fires all around us n don’t need some yahoo burning down one of my 2 happy places Iin da Okanogan! Peace out

Staff is amazingly helpful if u hv da right attitude n don’t come off demanding like yo staying at the Intercontinental. Miscreants n mayhemer’s stay away. Y’all find some sleezier joint to haunt, cause dis ain’t one of dem! Cool ur Jett’s while speaking with staff. I’ve overheard some particularly terrible stuff (cause people assume blind people R deaf?) catching more flies with honey than vinegar is not a myth. AH’Ll BE BACK!

Price and closeness to my family is why I chose this Inn. There is a restaurant and Subway on either side of it and it's just down the HWY from a Walmart (less than 5 minutes).

Not for you if your looking for fancy but excellent for the price. Nice sized clean rooms, quite, felt safe, with restaurant in parking lot and several others in walking distance. Simple breakfast with ample choices. Very good value for the money.
