Things to Know

Effective immediately, all parking passes will need to be purchased online and no parking is allowed on-site without doing so. After booking, Vacasa will register you in the HOA's parking system (VRPS). Before your arrival you will receive an email to pay for your parking pass(es) and put them on hold for your stay. This is an HOA imposed fee and Vacasa does not receive this. The reservation holder must be 25 years of age or older in order to obtain parking passes.

The Phoenix East Roof Project will commence on Monday, October 28, 2024. The project is expected to take approximately three months to complete. There will be general construction noise throughout the project. The highest levels of noise will be experienced on the upper floors. Light dust may be encountered occasionally throughout the project. In addition, the southwest corner of the parking lot will be blocked off throughout the project for staging of the crane and project materials.
The work is estimated (weather depending) to end January 17, 2025.

The unit is small and ALL the oversized furniture makes it look smaller. There was an oversized plant in the main hallway that made it feel like going thru a jungle everytime you wanted to get in the kitchen. Too much furniture in the living area, cant see the ocean. The windows were great and would really open up that area if you could see out of them. The lights would not come on the first night, had to eat by light from opening the fridge, trash on floor, old bandage wrapper on counter, yuke. Lights not fixed till afternoon of next day. No lights in master BR, could not plug in lamp because i noticed the cord was frayed and taped iwth electrical tape, scarry. Bathroom very small, bed was horrible, TV in master bedroom behind an extremely oversized hutch and was the size of a computer screen, could not see it, remotes did not work. Had to get a IT guy from our conference to fix them. I am an owner of another property with VRBO and i have never left such a bad review, but we were miserable and so very dissapointed.

We came into condo, did not smell clean. The kids feet was black and had sand all over them. The floor was nasty. We had not been to beach we had just got there in within a hour we had to sweep. We had no mop so had to go buy one. The toilet in master bathroom rocked when you sit on it. One outlet in kitchen has no cover over it. The windows facing the ocean in condo was dirty. We left it better than we found it. We will never stay there again.

Wonderful Experience!
This condo was just as described! It was super clean when we arrived. It has everything you need in the kitchen. I would recommend bringing extra toilet paper and toiletries. The bathrooms have two rolls each and hotel size toiletries. We were a family of 2 adults, 4 teenage girls, and 2 preteen boys, so we ran to the dollar store for more, no biggie. They have a couple things of laundry detergents, dishwasher detergent pods, and dish soap. If you're staying more than a day or two and plan to cook, you may need more. The furniture was comfortable and the patio views were amazing! It's in a great location, the beach was gorgeous, and the property was great! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much! We had a great time!

The condo was nice but the cabinets are starting to fall apart. The freezer door was left open so there was a wet mess. The spare bathroom toilet runs constantly and the water to the tub/shower was difficult to turn off. We loved the view and the property.

After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Vacasa property management about broken toilet- we gave up and managed to have a party of 8 to share one toliet. Why have a contact number listed on the fridge if connection to person is not possible. We also tried contacting Vacasa property via Vacasa and VRBO apps with no response from either. I guess a broken toliet is not a big deal to them?? Also- every mattress needs to be replaced with new ones. Unit could use updated furnishings and paint.

Nice quiet getaway in November
We had a lovely time. Just one minor glitch with the initial key code but only took a few minutes for them to reset it. Beautiful place and amazing view all around. Fitness area was perfect and indoor pool and hot tub were a big plus as it was a little cold at times. We actually saw a fox running along the beach the morning we left!

Multiple issues wrong with this property
I have stayed at multiple properties from Alabama to Florida over my life time and this was the worst ever. The experience began with a rude front desk worker. The condo was dirty and in need of serious updating. Popcorn ceiling, paint and decor that was outdated. no curtains on windows . sliding door would not work properly and had 1 inch opening at top such that storm sounded like hurricane was blowing thru condo. Bed frame was not connected to bed in master bedroom. just sitting on bed was noisy. had to stuff a pillow between wall and head board. dryer would not work properly. Called Vacasa property manager on day 2 of our vacation. she sent out person to "fix door" . This issue was previously reported in Bad review in July of 2021 and obviously never addressed. on day three we were so dissatisfied with the condo we elected to go home. I had paid for two parking passes for my daughter who was coming on Wednesday. Asked for my money back for this parking pass that was not used. VRBO refused. Vacasa did give my one day credit which I felt was not enough since the condo was NOT as promised. BEWARE OF VACASA AND VRBO RENTALS!!

Condo Needs Some Updating, but Good
The building itself and the location were very nice. The beaches were very clean and not crowded when we were there. Phoenix East II was undergoing construction when we were there, so I hope this condo is on their list. Overall, it met our goals. Almost every room needed a paint job though. The hallway bathroom needs major updating; it was very small and the tub/shower was very old. The HVAC vents all had a decent amount of dust and buildup around them, indicating that either more frequent filter changes or a duct cleaning may be needed. The TVs were not smart TVs, so you could not access streaming services from them. The view from the balcony was great. The kitchen was nice and spacious. There were no curtains for the large balcony windows and sliding glass door. This could definitely be a 4 or 5 star-reviewed condo if it is updated.

Very good location
We enjoy the location and amenities at Phoenix East II. Our condo was very nice but had a few issues that made our trip less than ideal. The coffee maker wasn't functioning, notified the rental agency, and they were fantastic and very prompt getting a replacement. The WiFi was snail slow, not sure if due to fact it is unsecure. Perhaps adding password security would improve the WiFi efficiency. The television remotes were not working. The primary bed wasn't the most comfortable. Besides those few issues, our family had a wonderful vacation and really enjoy Phoenix East II.

Fall Break
We had a great stay at Phoenix II East. This was our 2nd fall break staying here and it’s great for those of us with little ones. The condo is well maintained- but the bottom freezer drawer would not open. Not sure what the problem was but it wouldn’t open at all, so we had no use of the freezer during our stay. The only other complaint is there was no storage room in the kitchen for groceries. Otherwise this is a great rental.

DVD player in master doesn't work (was the only on in the condo), Beds in master and in middle bedrooms sag in the middle. All of the electronics need upgrading. Would be nice to have a DVD player in the living room or secondary bedrooms to keep the kids busy. Great location and overall enjoyed our stay.
