Hotel staff is amazing, helpful and kind. Special thanks to Veronica who helped us with our late check in and was very knowledgeable about Disney, Universal and the surrounding area. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was throughall. Would most definitely come back next time I am in Orlando

We had a one night stay after a very long flight and drive, the girl in reception (Briana) was most helpful and courteous, telling us about the hotel and the breakfast, which I must say was excellent. We did not use the pool as we had an onward journey, we will be recommending it to friends and family, it is in a great location at Lake Buena Vista, close to Disney and Sea World.

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel and shocked that it operates under the Marriott name. If I hadn’t been so exhausted from traveling, I would have left immediately. From the moment you step into the halls, there’s an overwhelming musty odor, and the rooms feel damp and humid. The accommodations are far beyond outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The room I stayed in had a wet, uncomfortable atmosphere, and the carpet was filthy. The bathroom was stained yellow, and it was clear that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. I even mentioned the smell to the front desk, and the response I received was, “Yes, unfortunately, it smells like that because it’s older.” The next morning I messaged Expedia and they contacted the hotel. The hotel did re-clean the room and tried to freshen it up. It helped a little. I could tell they tried. But the hotel just needs refurbished. The pictures online do not reflect the reality of this hotel, and I am honestly baffled by how it has received good reviews other than the staff. This is not what I expect from Marriott, and I will not be staying here again.

Great staff, breakfast could be better.
Every member of the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Some of the best hotel staff I've had in the last couple of years. The room was comfortable. However, the USB plugins on the lamp didn't work and was an inconvenience. Breakfast was a sore spot. It ends at 9am every day, by 8:45 there is a line of people waiting for EVERYTHING including the toasters. We got a hotel with a breakfast to save money, but you couldn't sleep in a little and had to wake up before 9 so you could get breakfast. Every morning was eggs, or the egg cheese omelet things and two types of sausage. I HATE sausage. Would have appreciated some bacon or ham. The bananas had black spots on them. Breakfast hours really need to be extended. The last day we didn't want to wake up until 9 and so we just ended up driving to Chik Fil a for breakfast.
