Very Nice, manager could be more considerate
Dormy inn was very nice the onsen was great the yogurts and snacks were delicious. The staff was very polite but I had 1 or 2 times when I felt the could’ve been more understanding. The phones in the room do not dial outside the hotel so I had to go to the lobby to use the front desks phone to call an airline to add a checked bag, yes calling was the only way I could. The gentleman helping me was trying his best but there were some issues so I asked to speak on the phone. Who using the phone I kept getting placed on hold but I was slowly making progress. After about 30 minutes I was almost done when the manager came over to me and told me I needed to get off the phone. She allowed me a few more minutes to finish but I found the interaction very surprising and inconsiderate. It was obvious I was going through a stressful call and I am a guest at your hotel. Also I should mention that I purposely stood at the far end of the desk out of the way to not disturb other guests needing to use the front desk. This situation and one other gave me the feeling that yes the staff was polite but really didn’t care if you were going through some travel struggles. Overall great hotel and I would stay again.

I didn't like their pillows they had, super uncomfortable. Notice their tv channels are quite boring to choose from. We notice hair in the shower and ask front desk to clean it but didn't.

It was relatively close to a train station. Although the hotel is actually right next to a fire station, didn't hear anything at all but that may just "be Japan". I actually extended my stay by a night and the staff were very helpful in finding a room for me and held onto my luggage since I had to check out of the first room. The breakfast is great. The best part about this hotel is the sento (public bath) which is open all night, literally. I only had time to use it once but it was fantastic.

夜の軽食のあっさりしたラーメンと、朝食のバイキングのクオリティーが高く、とても美味しかった。 ホテルの各フロアもとてもキレイでホテルマン達が常に笑顔で対応してくれ、とてもリラックスした時間を過ごせました。 隣が消防署で出動の音がたまにしていましたが、防音がしっかりしているので気にはなりませんでした。

The property was nice and clean. It had many amenities, such as free yoghurt drinks during the day and free soba noodles and ice cream in the evening. A very popular extra gauging from the number of people waiting for this in the evening. A free onsen on the property was a nice touch but can get very crowded. Room was clean and comfortable. Fairly walkable to the closest subway. A few nice dining options around the area. They will hold on to your luggage before check in and after check out for a few hours. Would stay again when in Osaka. Nice experience.
