Easy walking distance to all major sites and central station. Communal areas well thought out. Room was spacious (stayed in the larger double), big bed, warm and very comfortable. Great shower pressure as well. Decoration needed touching up in places but overall great value for money and location was outstanding

Great location, close to everything you need: train station, trans, busses. A very short walk to major shopping areas and attractions. Having a common area for you to sit and chat and a small communal kitchenette was great. My only disappointment was the lack of staff. Check in is contactless, with no assistance if it doesn’t work. I had to ask for our room to be cleaned. I know this lack of staff means lower prices, so it’s a compromise.

Great for a short stay close to the Central station, both the hosts and the housekeeping people are welcoming! 😊 The hanging rail in the room next to the bed was coming off loose screws. Fantastic shared facilities common areas were well presented.

Room and property were nice enough. However, poor attention paid to ridding the bathroom of a stale urine stench. Probably needed the whole toilet seat replaced or soaked in bleach.

Basic, but worth the price
Basic hotel for a stay in Oslo - comfortable bed and warm room. Contactless check in, supposedly. Had a few technical hitches which were sorted by the available ‘hosts’. Unfortunately, this was often met with disdain, like I had disturbed them (with the exception of one helpful member of staff). However, all issues were sorted eventually. Great ability to be able to leave luggage, and kettle, extra towels etc available on request. Coffee machine in the communal kitchen, but costs extra. A distinctly average stage, despite the apathetic hosts. This is how they advertise the stay so worth the reduced price! Definitely a good idea for a brief stint in Oslo where you don’t plan to spend much time in the hotel.

It's a good place to stay if you plan to drop your stuff off and go. The rooms and beds are small but have your bare necessities. Very clean and the WiFi was great for letting things download while your away.

Loved it here. It is close to the train and bus station (three blocks), close to trams and metro, and close to some great restaurants. Common areas and room was clean and staff was very helpful. There was a coffee machine and kettle along with two microwaves and access to a fridge. two small but good restaurants attached to the hotel.

Great choice!
Citybox is amazing. Afforable for such a great service and quality stay. Hotels are designed with so much creativity and modern aspects. Very easy kiosk check in and check out, but staff are there in case anything is needed. Rooms are spacious. Wifi is good. They offer few things like a kettle and microwave in the lobby and the hotel has a lot of social areas.
