Our check-in process was exceedingly long and complicated which was entirely attributable to the staff. We had reserved a room with two double beds, and very clearly had 4 family members present (the staff could see us, counted us, and handed us 4 wristbands), but gave us the keys to a room with a single kind bed because that is what was in the system. They didn’t mention this to us, but a senior staff member who was standing around (supervising?) the solo check-in employee questioned her decision as soon as we had left the lobby. We know this because our friend was behind us, checking in next.
That is poor customer service and does not make sense at all. Additionally, both staff members should have been checking people in. One was simply chatting and greeting folks in the slow-moving line. This was not a great experience. Other than that, everything was fine, but this took 30 additional minutes of our evening and was frankly quite annoying.
