The Gulf Crest Condominium and Resort rests on the exclusive Thomas Drive area of Panama City Beach described as 'the World's Most Beautiful Beaches' by Travel Channel. Eat, sleep or just relax on one of the largest gulf front wrap around balconies (719 square feet) on the Emerald Coasts. From your 23rd floor beach front view, watch your family play on the beach, swim in one of our two gulf front pools, two outdoor spas or kiddie pool. You get free Beach Service (in season) so you can relax in the cushioned lounge chairs with a large umbrella directly on Gulf Crest beach.

This large, open floor plan (1801 sq feet) boasts three bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, a bunk area and a queen size sleeper sofa to comfortably accommodate 8 - 10 people. The master bedroom, living, kitchen and dining rooms all provide spectacular gulf views through large floor to ceiling windows.

All the bedrooms feature king size beds, flat screen TVs and balcony access. The large open kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet dinners and has stainless steel Appliances, granite counter tops and a large breakfast bar. The unit has a washer/dryer, ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms and hi speed internet access provided by the property. There is a large flat screen TV in the living area.

Gulf Crest Resort features two gulf front pools, 2 outdoor spas, a kiddie pool, a poolside Tiki Hut Bar/Restaraunt, a gulf front fitness room, a video arcade game room, covered assigned garage parking, 3 high speed elevators and 294 feet of sugar white sandy beach.

You may never want to leave your unit, but in case you do, there is a poolside Tiki Hut Bar/Restaurant and excellent dining and family entertainment just a short walk away. Enjoy the fun park, golf, deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling or just spend a relaxing day at nearby St. Andrews State Park or Shell Island where you can swim with the dolphins.

There is a $50 registration fee per condo for parking passes and arm bands.

The check in process was easy, the location was great, the room was beautiful with amazing views and the weather was perfect. However, the room was not the cleanest, the cookware was peeling, the patio table was filthy and all the chairs in bad shape with one completely broken. The hide a bed was sagging in the middle and very uncomfortable to sit on, but the worst was the beds, very hard and creaky and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this room to friends.

I don’t think the owner knows or cares about his property. Location is good but the property is not really. Mold spots by one of the bathrooms, the front door was not really closing , tv didn’t work but the worst were the mattress. All 3 of them really really bad, uncomfortable to be on because of the spring noises. Overall we had fun because of the beach but we’re not going again in this condo.

The condo was spacious and had the best views!!! But it needs a good deep clean and the box springs or mattresses (not sure which it was) on all the beds need replacing. The slightest movement on all the beds had the most annoying noises. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!!

Great Condo on the Beach

Property was clean and beautiful and location is excellent. The only downside is the mattresses on the beds - Truly in need of replacement. Otherwise, everything else is near perfection! Enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Pros: the wrap around balcony provides amazing views of the beach and lagoon side. The unit has a lot of room for a large family. Cons: the unit wasn't up to par in cleanliness when we arrived and we actually spent some time sweeping/moping the floor ourselves which isn't something you desire when arriving at your destination. The beds in the unit create a loud cracking sound when you get in and out of the beds. Water dispenser from the fridge didn't work

Was a wonderful view from the balcony the condo could use some updating on the showers and the floors and coffee tables where not as clean as I wound like but it was a wonderful stay and the manager was fast to get the one issue we had fixed .

Loved everything about the place except for the cleaning fees I pay to get a semi clean place…the previous guests pop can ash trays were still on the balcony and the floors were quiet dirty other than that the place was TERRIFIC!!!

Not a great vacation

Condo was not clean when we arrived. Walking across the tile floor barefoot meant black dirty feet on everyone. No mop or broom in the condo. Dryer was broke when we arrived. We reported it on Sunday and it was not fixed until Thursday. Smoke detector started beeping on Tuesday and this was reported to maintenance, took them until Thursday to repair. Shower head in master bedroom was broke. We put a piece of cardboard in it to hold it in place to be able to take a shower. Previous tenants put dishes away dirty. We had to wash every dish before we used it. Kitchen sink had a water leak the previous week and smelled something awful. Would rent again in but not this unit.

Amazing view but horribly kept room

Love Gulf Crest. Have stayed there 4 different years but never this room again. Pros: View was AMAZING. Wrap around balcony with a beautiful Ocean View and a beautiful night time city view. Tiki Bar and workers were amazing. Room was short on Pots and pans to cook if that’s your thing but management was great on that issue lol and brought new. Cons: Room was filthy and there was shattered glass on the floor when we got there. Room floor was dirty enough that it was turning our feet black. Wore sandals in the room most of the time. All the dishes were dirty and disgusting. Found out why when we tried to do dishes all it did was flood water. Dryer was broken and didn’t dry clothes so pack extra if choosing to stay. Internet password was wrong and the contact information given was no help getting it working. Normally not an issue but we had 2 rainy days where it would of been nice to have internet to watch tv or for late at night since we are night owls until 2am or so (the main tv also had horrible burn across the tv) There was a new security guard that was getting on to kids for standing at the edge of the pool and jumping in. Not diving but jumping. When asked about it she said it was Florida Law that went into effect in 2022 that you can’t jump into a pool. When shown that law was for diving she insisted that diving and jumping were the same thing. All in all I love Gulf Crest and recommend it but do not recommend this room.

Very disappointed

Thinking that the amount if money paid to stay on the 23rd floor of the condo to which we have stayed for several years twice a year in different units. This init was the biggest disappointment of all. Floors were dirty,cobwebs on the ceiling,none of the 4 tvs works at all, the kitchen sink leaked with a pan to catch the water and smelled like mold,the guest bath sink dripped constantly. I reached out via email and by phone to edci property management. No response from email at all and when i called the lqdy said someone would be there to fix the tv issue the next day....no one ever stayed. I qm locql within 50 miles of PCB and would never recommend this company or this unit.

Cannot beat the views but the condo needs work.

My family and I travel a lot and have stayed in many different condos through Vrbo etc. This condo was definitely not up to par on what we are used to. First, ECDI charges YOU the credit card fee (if you choose to use one, so add that onto your total). When we arrived the check in process was relatively easy, but knowing where the parking spot was could have been easier. We ended up just parking on the top level to make things easier. When we got to the condo at first glance it’s beautiful. The only major difference is the couches are no longer the red leather (I would update the pics so people know). The master bathrooms toilet paper holder was broken when we got there. The mermaid room was missing the Roku. Be aware that there are a very limited amount of towels (no beach towels at all). The kitchen sink is not correctly mounted therefore it leaks. No cleaning supplies at ALL so if you spill anything or want to clean up after yourself bring some or go to Walmart. All of the beds creak anytime you move. Master armoire doesn’t have any hand pulls on drawers. Door on bunk beds was missing. Sand in drawers in mermaid room. No decent knives to cut fruit or even a cake with. I would not stay at this specific condo again but the Gulf Crest condo community areas was great!
