Beautiful condo - outstanding views

Unit 309 was modern and beautiful. It was not over decorated which made it seem larger which we loved. Bathrooms were great, kitchen had everything we needed except liquid dish soap for washing up, bedrooms were roomy, the washer/dryer was new, very large fridge, and the balcony was amazing. Only complaints or feedback would be to have more chairs on the balcony (2 currently), and the unit above us we remodeling so we did hear their hammering and sawing which was annoying on vacation. The did stick to the quiet hours (10am-10pm can work) but that's a little too late for us. Elevators are slow and some were not working so we used the stair a lot which was easy. This is one of the reasons we got this unit, to use the stairs.Overall, we would stay in the unit again.

Condo is as advertised

The condo is exactly as pictured and described. There were plenty of towels and linens for our stay. The bed in the primary was comfortable. The bunk bed in the second room was less than comfortable according to our 21 year old daughter. It was nice to have two full bathrooms though. Remember to bring your shampoo, conditioner and body wash as they are not provided in this rental. The kitchen was fully stocked. This condo is on floor 3 which is great. We're were able to avoid the traffic jams at the elevators. There is also a Starbucks and small store at the West end of the resort where you can also get, soft drinks, beer, ice cream, sunglasses, sunscreen and health products. I recommend parking on level 2 of the parking garage if possible.

Nice stay

The condo was great! Only thing was the ice maker didn’t work. Luckily we were on the 3rd floor cause the elevator wait was horrible. Tidewater is a HUGE place which wasn’t my favorite because the beach and pools were so crowded. Had to go out so early to get a chair. Our last day one of the pools were shut down the whole day which my kids weren’t happy about and the other pool was pretty dirty and you could smell trash.

PCB condo

Our stay was awesome, loved the beach service and our 9 year old granddaughter had so much fun. We barely had to leave the resort. Staff was helpful and didn’t have to deal with the elevators as we were on the 3rd floor, only on flight up.

Great condo, being on the 3rd floor was huge!

Excellent room, very nice. The elevators were either full or broken, so being on a low floor was very convenient, as others were waiting 30-45 minutes to catch an elevator while we took the stairs. Will definitely stay there again, it was perfect for our family of 4, especially the bunk room!

Wonderful stay, very secure!

As frequent visitors to the Gulf Coast, we found this resort the best so far. Staff at the resort were very helpful and kind. We appreciated the security upon check in and every visit in and out. This unit was immaculate! Everything we needed and was very clean. The cleaning team deserves kudos! We will be back to Tidewater!

worth the money

great services, great staff, the condo was for the most part very user friendly, although the refrigerator door cannot open to its full potential due to the tight space it is in, but was still accessible and operable with ease. big balcony, beautiful view, extremely great security. This is probably one of the safest resorts ive been to, and the wrist band policy is extremely effective, which makes it hard for non paying residents to access the facility. Good food, the pools are spacious and clean. Overall a great place. Elevators are always an issue at large resorts, no different here. The beach was clean and the water was perfect.

I completed all of the check in process that was asked of me. I e-mailed with the condo service. When we arrived “our names were not in the list”. He asked for a confirmation e-mail. I showed him the confirmation e-mail. He stated that wasn’t the one he needed. I then proceeded to show him multiple e-mails. He then advised us that “he would take care of us” but that we would have to come back to the check in desk the following morning. Eventually I came across the e-mail he wanted, which was not the confirmation e-mail. The elevator wait time is horrendous. All the way around awful. Just take the stairs. Always. The room was exactly as pictured. There is not much storage room in the kitchen. There is a small pantry but it was full of plastic bowls with lids. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. The air conditioner ran constantly but rarely got below 73 degrees. In the agreement, you are asked not to touch the thermostat and that it is pre set and that some causes of the condo not cooling properly is having the doors open, which we did not. It was not cool enough during the day or night. The parking/hauling all your needed supplies to the condo is not an easy process. The walk over is on the second floor. They have an attendant in the hallway to take your drivers license and hold u til you bring the cart back and then they give your drivers license back. This is just not a quick task at all. There is rarely ever parking on the 2nd floor parking garage so a

Tidewater Beach Resort

Best condo we’ve ever stayed in. Pros: security 24/7, extremely safe and family friendly, arcade and indoor/outdoor swimming pools AND a restaurant, clean beach, easy check in/out process, walkover from parking garage to condo, all amenities in condo that were needed. I give this place a 10/10 but everywhere has cons to consider. Cons: fridge did NOT cool, refrigerated items soiled if not in the freezer (this could be our individual condo), elevators take a life time (we were on 3rd floor so took the stairs everyday). That’s it. Wonderful place to stay!

Great condo!

The condo was very nice with a great beach front location. Large resorts are not my cup of tea, way too many people, but this 3rd floor unit was easy to get to by way of the stairs. Beach is loud and full of beach chairs and people, if you are ok with that you will love it!

The room was nice. Very spacious living space. However the elevators were very slow. With everyone arriving for a 4:00 check in it was very difficult to get a luggage cart. Overall, our stay was very nice.

Nice clean condo but smelled like dead seaweed in the bunk bed area. We waited for elevators for over 30min and ended up having to take the stairs any time we wanted to get food or go to beach. The chair service was horrible, they put every one on top of each other with no room to even put a cup down in between the chairs. Chair service was kind of a waste because the public just came and posted up in front of everyone. Room was roomy but elevator access and lack of space with beach service make us not want to go back.

Amazing View

The property is awesome! Everything we needed was there. We didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. There is even a Starbucks on property😀 and a theatre. Walking distance to Winn Dixie, the Pier and various restaurants. The only challenge was the elevators, super slow, but we were on the 3rd floor so we took the stairs. The unit itself has the most amazing view and it was clean and nice. Could use some upgrades, and not sure what the issue was when we were there, but it smelled like sewer…we ended up purchasing plug-ins to mask the smell. All in all it’s a really great unit. Will most definitely stay again!

Beautiful View

The unit was great, clean, comfortable, not cluttered. The balcony view is AMAZING! The actual property was pretty crowded and a bit dirty but the staff was trying their best with how many people are staying there. The dryer in our unit stopped working and the management was not helpful. The chair rental was not communicated well as to how to go about it and the staff working the little hut were slow and pretty rude. There was no info posted outside the hut. I was told it by another random quest it opened at 8:30 and it was never open much before 9 each morning, which made for long lines. The elevator situation is not good, but we just used the stairs since we were on the 3rd floor. I wouldn't stay here in a unit above the 3rd or 4th floor or if you are dependent on using the elevator. All in all we enjoyed our rental unit very much.
