PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU EVER BOOK WITH THIS LOCATION!!!! I Booked this for a business trip for me and 2 other co-workers. We traveled from Gettysburg PA to Panama City Beach looking for a hotel location that could be our go to as we will be visiting many, many more time for the government contracts we support. The rooms (2 of them) were absolutely atrocious! This is for both rooms... Nothing was clean, the sliding balcony doors didn’t work and could barely get them open. They would come off the track and 1 room wouldn’t even lock. Just dangerous because they could secure the room or was safe to mess with. The AC systems could not be set, TV in 1 room didn’t work, trash bags were stacked by the steps going to the rooms (the smell was horrible). This is also what contributed to the roaches in my co-worker room crawling under their towels. The pictures they have posted are in my opinion is absolutely NOT their hotel. I travel for work 2-3 days a week somewhere in the US for the past 22 year and this was the absolute worst I have ever experienced. We just couldn’t stay another day. I went to the from desk to talk about checking out and getting a refund. I was told that since this was booked through Hotels.com they had to contact them but they would have no issue issuing my refund. Hotels.com worked on it for 72 hours with nothing to show.
Property is scheduled for demolition for a new condo to be built. It’s outdated, not well kept, and frankly it’s obvious they’re squeezing every last cent out of tourists they can by still renting it. Hot tub didn’t work. Beach shower/rinse station was inoperable, and parking was inconvenient to say the least. Would’ve cancelled my trip had I known what I was getting into. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere
The rooms were filthy,run down, carpet terrible and worn out. The safe was to nasty to touch, sliding door to balcony was hard to open and close.Dayshift at front desk was rude an d act like they were doing you a favor staying at this dump. mass confusion checking in. had no maid service took over 6hours to even get clean towels.the internet there didnt even work etc
OUR STAY AT THE RAMADA WAS THE WORST OF ANY HOTEL EVER! I HAD RELIED ON THE RAMADA/WYNDHAM NAME AND THAT WAS A MISTAKE. THE PHOTOS ONLINE WERE MISLEADING AND WERE A MISREPRESENTATION ON THE INTERNET OF THE ACTUAL PROPERTY IN ORDER TO SECURE OUR BUSINESS.
THE SHEETS ON BOTH BEDS WERE STAINED. THE FAUCETS IN THE TUB WERE FALLING OFF THE WALL. THE LIGHT FIXTURES WERE ACTUALLY RUSTED. THE CARPET GOING INTO THE BATHROOM WAS SHREDDED THE DOOR TO THE DECK HAD TO BE LIFTED UP TO OPEN. THE TRASH CANS OUTSIDE WERE OVERFLOWING AND NOT EMPTIED FOR TWO DAYS. THE POOL WAS NEVER CLEANED DURING OUR STAY.
WHAT WE HAD NOT NOTICED WHEN WE ARRIVED WAS A NOTICE ON THE DOOR ABOUT A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE NEW BUILDING TO REPLACE THE EXISTING ONE. SINCE WE HAD BOOKED THROUGH A THIRD PARTY WE COULD NOT CANCEL OR, BELIEVE ME WE WOULD HAVE.
THE AMENITIES WERE NOTHING AS ADVERTISED TO THE PUBLIC. IT WAS FALSE ADVERTISING. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC FROM MISREPRESENTATION SUCH AS THIS.
They put us in room where balcony had trees blocking view of ocean. Room was dirty.
They did move us after 2 days. They did give us 2 free meals at Barefoot restaurant.
Whirlpool never worked. No lounge chairs were at pool. Place needs work . Probadly will never stay there again. However staff was friendly.
Tried to check in. Several others in lobby complaining of problems ranging from filthy room, broken door that won't close, and non-working AC. When they finally got to me, they decided to go verify my room was ok before sending me to it. It was not. Thankfully the Radisson next door is owned by the same company, so they put me in a room there with no hassle at all.
The balcony door was broken, there was marinara sauce splattered all over the wall. When we first walked in there were chocolate candies on the floor. Our tv had no power cord. The carpet was ripped up in spots. The faucet in the shower was out of the wall. All of the blankets and sheets were stained. We would’ve left but there were no other places available on such short notice. I contacted hotels.com because that’s who I booked through and was told I had to go through them, they offered me $25 in a credit. Our stay was $550. Terrible all around.
The rooms are outdated and look nothing like the pictures. The bathroom door didn't lock and the beds were so uncomfortable. The phone in the room did not work so I had to walk down to the front desk if I needed anything and even then it was a 15-20 min wait because the line was so long with many people complaining.
This property should be condemned, holes in walls, water dripping from ceiling, not sure the last time they could see the pattern through all of the filth on the carpet. I could continue, but dont want to waste anymore of my time thinking about this property.
The pool was green then they closed it down. They have no elevator so a lot of walking to get your stuff upstairs. Kind front desk but room was run down and just overall nasty.
Absolutely disgusting place, I can’t even start. Green pool and room next to me had 30 flies in the window. I wish I could post the pictures I have. 0/10 I want to sleep in my car. At least it would be clean.
