This hotel is not your typical chain hotel. The decor is cute and eclectic. The room was very small, but livable. It could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't anything worth complaining about. You go upstairs using a narrow, winding staircase, so be ready for that. The staff was very friendly, and they helped us figure out how to get to the airport after our stay. Breakfast in the hotel was very nice, but it wasn't included with the room. The hotel is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and several restaurants. To get to other landmarks in Paris, you'll need to take transportation. We found the metro was pretty convenient once we figured out how to get tickets.

A small eclectic hotel
Hotel staff was pleasant. No elevator so kinda sucked lugging my suitcase up a few flights of stairs (was mentioned on the listing I just missed it so my fault here). Didn’t try their breakfast. Had a single room. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Note about the bathroom though- if you are tall or in a bigger body you may have some trouble. I’m short and my knees still hit the wall while using the toilet. And I had to squeeze slightly to get through the doorway past the sink (I’m a US size 22 for reference). My main issue was that my door didn’t properly lock. It was fine when I was inside the room and could turn the extra lock. But I was able to open it without using my key card. I didn’t notice until right before I left (only a 2 night stay). I told the front desk person when I checked out and she didn’t seem as concerned as felt she probably should have been.

Perfect for Paris
We stayed here 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is also really great. We were able to walk to a lot of the locations we wanted to see. The streets around the hotel had some nice places to eat and explore. We enjoyed and appreciated the whimsical and eclectic style of the hotel. It was cute and artistic. As some reviews have noted, the hotel room and bathroom are small, but you are in a major European city. So, it’s pretty common to have smaller rooms and bathrooms than what we are used to in the US. With that being said, we weren’t bothered by it, we know to expect this in Europe and even Asia. Also, it’s Paris! You should be out exploring as we were! We would stay here again. Also, there is no elevator, just stairs. We were perfectly fine with this. The location and cleanliness of the hotel make it a really great value for a city like Paris. If you are fussy and picky this probably isn’t the place for you. You should probably pay double for one of the major chain hotels. If you have realistic expectations you realize what a gem this hotel is! It’s a really great place to stay and great price for the location too.

Great hotel. The area around is very quiet and walkable, lots of restaurants to choose from. There’s 24hr front desk and everyone was super helpful. there’s no elevator so make sure you pack light or request a room on the first floor.

Nice stay but lots of stairs
The stay was very nice since it was close to the Effie tower. It can get problematic when you have to give the card key to the front desk or having to walk up multiple stairs to your room
