Shower problem
The whole stay was spoilt because, we could have a shower due to the hot water being cold for the whole of our stay. This was reported every day. There was a lorry delivering every morning between 5-30 and 6-30, so if you are at the front of the hotel it could be a problem.

Hotel was great except for the hot water for showers - there was none - they had issues with the water heater and when it was fixed the water was still only lukewarm - 4 days of lukewarm showers - thought this could have been fixed in one day.

The staff were very welcominig. The room was exceptionally clean, small but clean. Convenient to the hotels that my friends and family were staying at. The cost was competitive if not better than the other hotels in the area. I am picky about where I stay and I would suggest that you give this place a try.

Nice hotel within 15 minutes by foot to the Opera. Quiet street and friendly people. The rooms are a little small and the elevator holds about 2 people and a bag or two. Lots of small shops and restaurants nearby and they have a good arrangement with a local garage for parking. Second year we've stayed 3 nights at the hotel.

on the whole, the hotel was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great and easy for us to get around. Lots of dining options in the neighborhood, and a pharmacy and grocery were also in easy walking distance. Rooms were modernized too. There was a coffee station to get a quick cup of coffee and tea if needed, with madeleines (nice touch). Things that could be improved upon: Elevator - very tiny, Can fit 2 people, or 1 person and a suitcase but that's it. While we had no problems doing 3 flights of steps, others may who aren't as fit. Bathroom - on the whole was great and newly renovated, but a bit more counter space would be great so items don't always fall off. other than those 2 things, everything else was super. We were there as for the Paris Marathon, and as we may come back in 2 years, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!
