Bad in cleanness
The price was low compared to other hotel nearby. The location is not bad, very easy for the transportations. Eating and shopping were convenience. However, the main problem is the cleanness. I went to room and got some strange smells. I thought it was painting recently, however, on the day I left, I found several bugs on the wall and in my bed. I killed some of them and they were full of bloods. I had a lot of red rashes on my hand and I am still itching when I returned home.

Good budget option near the metro
Good budget option, just be aware that some of the rooms have shared toilets and showers. Service is good, the hotel is clean, staff is friendly and the area has all sorts of businesses you may need. Close to a metro and train stations likewise.

We booked a non-smoking room but the room stank of cigarette smoke upon arrival. The smell lingered despite our opening the windows, and became a little less sting by our 4th night. On the upside, the room was well heated, the bathroom had new fixtures & good hot water service.

I am a single guy and just needed a simple inexpensive place to stay and this met that criteria. It is true that there is no elevator and I was on the 4th floor which was not a problem for me. I did choose a room without a toilet or shower. The shared shower was literally 4 steps away and was always kept clean and hallway floors mopped every morning. Room service came to provide towels and sheets daily. I had no issue with the location as it was a 3 minute walk to the Metro Place de Clichy and one night I even walked back to room from Moulin Rouge which was maybe a 15 to 20 minute walk. I had no issues with the management. They were friendly and provided me with the key, remote for the tv, and numerical code foor the front door if returning to the hotel after hours.

Positive. Very near transportation. Bathroom had good hot water for shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Negative. No elevator. 'Cafeteria' had no plug outlets to charge and limited charge locations in bedroom. Also bed as One rolled pillow not two separate pillows.

This hotel is located in a busy area, old furniture and was asked to stay at the sixth floor with no elevator. I insisted to have a room at level one due to my surgery. One room was arranged to me soon but with no shower inside the room.

Hôtel de Nantes, The worst hotel I ever stayed. Toilets have no toilet seats, no lights. Bathrooms have no lights. You take shower in the total darkness. No lift or elevator and you stay at 6th floor. Just forget this hotel before you regret. This is the truth if the owner does not make some changes. October 12, 2018.

Probably wouldn't stay again
The owner was pleasant. The location was ok. The hotel is in need of massive updates. Our room smelled of sewage. It was extremely loud. Everything was really worn. The "closet" was just a bunch of hangers tangled together and hanging from a rope. I had booked a triple but was given a double. I read the other bad reviews, but unfortunately Paris was 95% booked on Hotels.com when I started looking for a room. This was the only room available in my price range. If I had to do it again, I'd probably stay farther out. It was bearable for a night.

TV in a room that was nice. And decoration of the room can be improved. Also cover on duvet will be expected. But man, which cleaning rooms should knock before he has to open the doors.
