Location, Location, Location. Can't get better than this. Short walk to Eiffel Tower, metro and great restaurants with cobble stone streets and side walk cafes. Room was spacious for European standards and staff was always friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was our second stay at Hotel de L'Empereur. The rooms are small but everything else was great. Although small the room was comfortable. The location is great with good restaurants and close to Rue Clerk so fresh fruit, food and drink is very close.

Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming! Elevator is small, but at least they have an elevator since many other places are stairs only. The room was quite big for the area we were in. And we had a wonderful view of Les Invalides. I would 10/10 stay here again as it was not too bad of a walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Museum of Arms, or the Sein. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring all the Paris highlights popular with first-time visitors. The location can’t be beat - walkable to Invalides and Musee Rodin; 2 blocks from Metro to Champs-Elysees, the Louvre, Ile de la Cite. Yet, it’s quiet at night and with cozy cafes in the neighborhood for breakfast and lunch; Rue Cler is just around the corner. The building is old and the showers are so strange for Americans (how to manage without flooding the bathroom!); the hotel breakfast is convenient but nothing special. But the bed was very comfortable. Room was only small by American standards (and we are not in America)! The staff are extraordinarily polite and so helpful! Marvelous little place. We would stay here again!

Overall we had a lovely stay! Long story short, our original hotel overbooked the day we were travelling to Paris (for our honeymoon I might add lol), so I was stressed trying to book a new place. I came across this one on Expedia and I am so happy we stayed here. The people here were SO friendly! The room itself was small but didn’t feel suffocating. The bathroom was quite large which was awesome. We went in August, and it was in between the olympics and paraolympics, so it was SO quiet! Felt really safe walking around and it was close to a lot of the big landmarks (Louvre, Eiffel Tower). Highly recommend!

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased with the accommodations. We reserved a quad room which to our delight ended up being 2 adjoining rooms. The kids had their own toilet and shower! Great location… across the street from Hotel Invalides, approx 2 block walk to LaTour-Mouberg metro. Groceries, pharmacy, laundry, patisserie and restaurants all close by. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and speak English. The buffet breakfast was very good with sweet and savory options. The bathrooms were nice and spacious (bidets are no longer). Effiel Tower was 10 min walk away. This is Paris so be prepared for the tiny elevator. We would absolutely stay here again!
