DO NOT STAY HERE!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!! The hotel locks the lobby door so that you cannot enter or leave unless someone is behind the desk. They take your key back every time you leave. If there were a fire, you could not get out. The AC does not work, it's hot.

The rooms are very small but interesting. We would not choose the breakfast next time
Horrible experience during check-in. The front desk clerk was not professional and extremely rude! We wasted 2 hours in the lobby during check in because their credit card machine was not working. The agent did not care to resolve the issue till we demanded he called the manager. He walked away during check in and was on a personal call by the entrance. I would fire him if this was my property. He has no business working for hospitality industry.
Moreover, housekeeping would only leave one set of towels even though we were 3 people in a room with 3 beds. We had to go downstairs to the lobby each night to get towels and plastic cups. The staff kept apologizing but the issue was never corrected for subsequent days. Lastly, they only gave us one key, which would get deactivated few times during the day and we would have to go down and have it activated. Overall it was a horrible experience.
Not very clean. It’s an ‘ok" hotel but definitely not for this price. Would be ok paying 50/100 euros a night but not what I paid which was 200. Impossible to really sleep after 8am with how loud the doors closing around get. Air con is fine and helped a lot. Stayed there as a last resort since it was last second. Welcome desk guy was awesome though and very welcoming and helpful. Accidentally left my door opened the whole night and nothing happened to me so that’s a plus for safety I guess !
Overall is a good hotel. We stayed in a 3 person room and sadly one of the beds was broken and just put together with plastic ties. Staff was very friendly which was a plus
I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel.
The room and bathroom were too small. One cannot move properly inside the bathroom. Cannot close the bathroom door when you are inside.
The bed was not confortable at all
Amazing price. Take bus #31 from Gare du Nord. 100 m from bus stop. Nice walk to metro past patisseries and supermarkets and restaurants. Very clean. Extremely helpful when I arrived too early for check-in but had a 1pm engagement. I would definitely stay there again!

You can’t eat in the room (or you’ll be charged €40), there’s no fridge or tea or anything, there were no electrical sockets near the bed, receptionist were horrible (except for one guy he was lovely). Wifi was free but was so bad.
Small in everything..
Also not in a good location..
No parking..
Very expensive local phone bill..
Stairs, hallways, and the room itself is unbelievably small...
They did not refill the toilettries..
The only good part is the counter staff who check us in.. We came in early so our room is not yet available but he let us use other room to freshen ourselves..
The hotel was rated 3* in Expedia website. I do not know how this is justified. From the start hotel is 10 min away from nearest metro. the reception is crampy with one vending machine for coffee / water and machine not providing as required ( coffee without milk). You pay dearly for even a bottle of water. No facilities for coffee making anywhere in the hotel.
The checking in processs was dodgy. The website and Expedia claimed can check in 2 hrs prior . I had to wait for 45 min to get the room . Asked to pay upfront at checkin for the whole stay and not just card guarantee. He encouraged me to pay in cash and falsely stated some issue with my card. However, when contacted card provider to confirm no issue with card immediately he card payment went through.
The room provided was crampy , dingy and small with a small cramped triangular bathroom shower. no place to move around or place your bags.Immediately request refund of payment deducting one night charges. was denied. Expedia contacted but could not enable hotel to refund amount. So forced to stay and endure the above.
Next day room changed to bigger room with bigger ensuite.
The beds are twin brought together as double but uneven mattress and given me backspin. the room security deposit not working and hotel could not repair or give alternative locker. The locker required additional I euro coin every time you open and close the locker so potentially you could spend 10 euro if you opened the locker 10 times in a day
The staff is nice and helpful but I do no think the price I paid for a single room was accurate.
Yes you are in Paris, so rooms are usually tiny but hearing until midnight your neighbors talking in the corridor or having sex in the room nearby is annoying. The walls are too thin!!

Hi
I just would like to inform you about the Hotel Prince Monceau. I just would like to warn you about this hotel, how they can take your money beforehand. We have experienced a terrible experience with them and I would give you the best advise not to book this hotel in the future. THIS HOTEL DEDUCTED YOUR MONEY TWICE OF YOUR STAY. This hotel is not trusty and I will not recommend that you pay them online. I would recommend that you avoid them otherwise, they will deduct your money twice and will not be able to tell you when your money will be issued.
On the 6th October, we have booked via EXPEDIA HOTEL PRINCE MONCEAU for a stay of 4 nights for me and my colleague. The stay came in total of 762 EURO. The money was deducted from my account
On the 8th October, my colleague and I arrived at the hotel and the receptionist from Afganishtan with a poor with hospitality experience told us that we need to pay again and the initial transfer that I have done was deducted but with put on hold by the bank as it was an pre authorisation. I shown him the receipt from my bank that the money was already deducted. He told me not worry again and I should pay 762 EURO and the money was going to be reimburse tomorrow.
On the 10th October, I have asked them that the money was not reimburse and I am getting worried because 762 EURO is a lot of money for some people and I told them that was my budget for my stay in Paris. They told me that the money was going to be reimburse in 2 days before I

Hotel was adequate and extremely useful for train connections direct to office. Handy brasserie, bank and corner shop within 1 minute of hotel. Note that internet is per device €2 per night.
