Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Would recommend

Nice old pub, friendly staff, reasonably priced menu. Room was small but nice. Good choice of beverages. However the bathroom was icy cold with no form of heating, the hot water tap wasn't much more than a dribble and the shower very dangerous as it went from scalding to freezing with only the tiniest touch on the dial. My husband warned me not to use it.

Pleasant and convenient for a night out in St Ives.

Liked the grounds that were quiet and well kept. Room was very clean and warm.

One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in when on the road so much, but this was refreshing and welcome change. Just a shame I my stay was so short...

I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. The staff were very friendly and chatty and were also extremely attentive and professional. Prices of food were on the expensive side however it was of very very good quality. There were great cooked options on the breakfast menu also. The rooms were very clean and very cosey, it had a great shower and good automatic lights in the bathroom at night. They provided coffee, tea & bottles of water; I approved of the water bottles. The bed was also possibly the comfiest hotel bed I’ve slept on. In terms of the facilities, the pool was great and so was the jacuzzi, the sauna was a great addition too, with a pool side bar and a very good looking girl working behind it who was nice and chatty. The gym was very small, and it wouldn’t really fit anymore than 10 people. However it had what you needed for a quick workout and it was good that it was pool side. Parking was easy and free which was great. Overall it was a great hotel, one of the best I’ve visited in a while. Would recommend.
