This property was amazing and extremely affordable. Usually for the price I would have expected your 1980s motel feel, but this property seems to have been updated. It has a modern feel and I could even smell new carpet smell. It was absolutely perfect and right on the water. Honestly, the best motel I've stayed at. Do yourself a favour and book this place if your in Paynesville. So glad I did.

We had a ground floor unit that still had a great view of the canal and the marina. The unit was spacious and clean and we had a good nights sleep. The receptionist gave us a great welcome and her suggestion to catch the ferry (free for pedestrians) to Raymond Island to see the Koala’s meant we saw at least 6 Koala’s during our 1 hour walk there. Enjoyed our stay at Mariners Cove.

This spotless apartment was fabulous and great value. Warm welcome by staff, we parked right at the door of our unit. Well equipped and comfortable with super outdoor area overlooking the water. The room was spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable bedding and linen was clean and smelled so fresh. Kitchen well equipped with all our needs and more. Huge ensuite, with super hot shower with great water pressure. Ideally located, we strolled to the ferry and local pub. Highly recommended.

Superb location
Fantastic location with a great outlook and an easy walk to the Esplanade. This property also had the most comfortable bed of our trip; the room was well equipped, although TV reception wasn't great. We would happily return, but would choose an apartment rather than a motel unit. The motel units are adjacent to a staff/contractor utility and parking area, and open off an enclosed concrete corridor that amplifies the noise in an inevitably high-traffic location, in use from fairly early in the morning. We also had the bad luck to check in while the outside area, at the front and back of the rooms, was being water-blasted. The noise was unpleasantly loud, and continued for almost 2 hours after we arrived. It's a shame it wasn't scheduled for the check-out/check-in window.

location is brilliant close to shop but not too close. The back door is on the waterway. Nicely appointed with spa bath. WE parked the car and walked everywhere, a very nice stay.
