The entire hotel was frozen I went there for an event and I stayed for two nights my room was so cold even when I turned up the heat and the event we had to keep our jackets on. The second night was worse than the first night my room was freezing so I had to put on my socks on jackets just to sleep

The property was having issues with the water getting hot. Winter time is not the good time for cold water and small kids. The manager was amazing at trying to rectify the issue at hand. The staff were very friendly to hotel guest. I saw several incidents of great customer service. children.

We arrived late with a child, exhausted before my marathon the next morning — and the entire stay was a disaster. Our key cards never worked, even after a technician supposedly “fixed” them. The room reeked of cigarettes, and the front desk staff was unhelpful the entire time. The worst part: while I was at my race, my partner tried to take our 6-year-old daughter back to the room to use the bathroom. Despite him holding BOTH key cards, the staff refused to let them upstairs and even called security to escort him out of the hotel. Completely unacceptable. The keys weren’t fixed until later in the day. The experience was stressful, unprofessional, and absolutely not what you expect from a DoubleTree. Never staying here again.

Staff were friendly, quick and room was always clean. Our flight was not until the evening so I was extremely happy we were able to hold our luggage there even though check out was at 11am. There was 2 down falls with this stay, there was no airport shuttle which would have been nice and convenient for guest. The other major one for us was the pool wasn’t heated even though we asked and they said it was. After a long day of walking and the cold weather that was exactly what we were excited about only to be disappointed.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Center City. The location is great: lots coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance and the subway is less than a block away, situating us just 15 minutes from our kids in South Philly. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a good size, the exercise room is smallish but nicely equipped and the indoor pool is small but a fun extra. We found the staff to be lovely, without exception. The prices are fair. The vibe is very friendly. We really love the place and will be back next time we visit our kids.

Perfect location to attend a show at the theatre across the street. Staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our room was wonderful, amazing view of the.city. Very clean and had everything we needed.
