It's a risk.
I took a chance on the mixed reviews, hoping for the best. I didn't get the best. My room smelled like rotting food/old cheese. The mattress was worn out. The floor in front of the fridge and sink was worn out and peeling up, possibly water damage? The worst was the old shower faucet handle, which looked like it was filled with mold on the inside. The doors needed a good wipe down, as did the walls near the floor. Definitely not 'attention to detail' or maybe just basic attention. BUT the outside looked great, as were the amenities. The pool was perfect. Lots of fun choices from ping pong to cornhole.

Dirty and noisy.
Room was extremely dirty. Jets in bathtub shower handle had black mold in it. Floor was dirty and didn’t look like it had been mopped in a few stays. Extremely noisy. Our one year old baby was woken up all night long by the people running around above us and guest walking past our window.

The outside area of the property is pretty clean but the rooms are average, there is no sound barrier between rooms due to a cheap adjoining door. For being a "Resort" it doesnt have a resort feel. The comforters are down with feathers poking you or a cheap lycra blanket. Our first room had a dirty jetted tub then after a room change due to noise our second room had a dirty shower. Richard the pool security was a bit ridiculous. We were easily the youngest guests and we are in our 40's and Richard (I dont know his name) comes around like a bored HOA president making sure no one is enjoying their pool time. You cant have plastic drink containers he was running around making people get rid of drinks and the hot tub was colder than the swimming pool and the guests were trying to get the "Resort" to turn up the heat and they wanted to argue that it was hot enough.. It just wasnt the "Resort" experience we were hoping for.

Very nice spacious room with kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was closed first time we stayed but was opened the next. Wish we had more time to enjoy amenities, but check in was not til 4pm, later than most hotels, and check out was 10am. Earlier than most. A very nice fitness room. I would definitely stay again.

The size was perfect for three adults and it was very quiet. We did have a few issues . We stayed 8 days. Our dishwasher wasn’t working . Maintenance had to come out 4 times. Washing dishes on my vacation was t what I had planned. The pool was down. We were really looking forward to getting in the pool . It was not advertised when we booked the room that it was down. I have a special needs son that was really upset . The floors were filthy. Our feet were black after walking around for 10 minutes. Our last night we found a huge cockroach in our bathroom . Time to go home 🙁
