Avoid This Hotel – Not Worth the Money!
I had an extremely disappointing stay at this so-called five-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were rude, unwelcoming, and lacked basic hospitality. It was clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority, and their attitude made the entire experience unpleasant.
Breakfast was dull with very limited options, and to make matters worse, the chef refused to serve bacon due to his personal religious beliefs. In an international hotel, I expect a variety of food choices that cater to all guests, not just specific preferences.
Housekeeping was just as bad—an empty bottle was left in my bathroom for two days. The pool was filthy and clearly not well-maintained, which was disappointing given the hotel’s modern decor. Despite its appearance, the hotel desperately needs proper maintenance, as wear and tear are visible throughout the property.
The location is another major downside. It’s quite remote, making it difficult to get around. The hotel shuttle service stops at 6 PM, and without it, I had to pay 400 Baht just to get to Kamala Beach for dinner. Unfortunately, dining options outside the hotel are very limited, making it even more inconvenient. While Kamala Beach itself is okay, the surrounding area is dirty and has a strong smell of rubbish, which takes away from the experience.
For anyone visiting Phuket for the first time and hoping for a great experience, steer clear of this resort and the area!
