This place is in a great spot—close to lots of attractions but still nice and peaceful. The rooms are really clean and comfortable, and there’s plenty of parking, which is super convenient.

I visited from Knoxville because I wanted to experience the midnight fireworks for New Years Eve at The Island. I researched multiple hotels in Pigeon Forge to get the best deal and within walking distance to The Island…(I was by myself)..I require a balcony “always” so this was a plus for me! I was a little over a mile from The Island (and I hike the Smokey’s weekly), so I definitely didn’t have a problem walking to The Island. Loved having a “Keurig”…(I brought my own K-cups)…Staff was excellent…Deena/Kayla/and when I checked out on 1/2 (did not get her name)…My view was exquisite (facing the Christmas Inn at the Christmas Place)…enjoyed looking out and seeing the beautiful decor at the Inn…(my room was directly on front)….Bathroom counter space and mirror light was excellent! Like I mentioned, I was alone and skeptical about walking back from the island to hotel, but was glad I could walk with other people as they arrived at various hotels on the way on Teaster. Entering the hotel after midnight (around 12:45), (without requiring a keycard/room key entry) was a little disturbing as it seemed anybody from the street could enter without being a guest…so I continually checked behind me and around me as I stood waiting for the elevator to take me up to the 4th floor. Everything was exquisite and room was perfect/clean/nice/balcony was perfect/quiet/(even on NY’s Eve night)…Places & experiences like this will keep a person returning…even being an hour away😉

The mattress was awful in our room 419!! They need to do a much better job changing out mattress. This morning the staff coming to clean our room came busting into our room fortunately I had the lock flipped in front of the door. The man didn’t knock at all. No excuse for that kind of service. I reported it to the front desk not sure that management was told. But that was very bad. If my door had not had the lock flipped around to keep people out he would have came in on us dressing!! Terrible experience. Please report the the managment!!
