This hotel was what I expected for Portsmouth but the associate was wonderful. The hotel was bad, the room was mopped with dirty mop water we wiped up the floor with a wet towel cause our feet was sticking to floor the towel was black when done it smelled like a____ I was very unsatisfied with this hotel it should not have. A 7 rating the pool was broke or down I would not recommend this hotel in this area!!!!! Worst super 8 I have stayed at

Rebecca in the breakfast area and Brianna at the front desk were very kind. The pool was disgusting with chunks of paint on the bottom of the pool. They ran out of towels so our family of six had four towels. The hall reeked of pot. The bed was comfortable.

The entire place smelled like weed! The bathroom and floor of the entire room was gross. My wife ended up going to purchase cleaning supplies to clean before we even attempted to unpack our luggage. The person working the desk smelled extremely heavy of weed! Would not recommend this location at all! My wife request that the general manger contact her we are Still waiting on the call back. We request extra towels and we were giving rags that the pool used.

Our non-smoking room REEKED of weed, enough so that we had to keep the window open, which had no screen, which let bugs in. Staff was courteous, but not helpful. When asked to change rooms they were unable to do so (no problem, fully booked), but the solution was to give us a bottle of pet odor cleaner and DIY. Interior rooms, but the doors to the outside had no locks. Unacceptable security issue. This is NOT a city where we wished to have open access to the door of our room. The next time we come to town for our race, we will pay double the price to stay at the state park lodge. We will NOT be staying there again.
