The hotel is very homely and welcoming,the room we had was very comfortable with brilliant views of the loch and hills.The staff were really helpful and very pleasant.We ate in 2 of the hotels eateries, both were very good the breakfast was also very good with a great choice.We used the spa facilties which were also very good,all in all a very pleasant mini break and we will endeavour to return in the future.

Although a old building it was very cosy, clean and tidy. Room was nice and clean. Only one wee thing, when we handed in our key on departure, the gentleman on reception did not even ask if we had a nice stay or was everything alright with our stay, not a nice example of hospitality. We will be back, but just a wee thing.

Excellent stay. Friendly owners. Very clean. Room comfortable and quiet. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Car parking at the property a real bonus. Close location to walk into Pitlochry. Choice of different restaurants, pubs, hotels and coffee shops in a few minutes walk from property. Visits to the dam and visitor centre, local walks along the river. Further afield House of Bruar, Bruar waterfall, Blair Athol, Killiecrankie, lots more. Definitely recommend

Phonab Castle setting is spectacular. The staff made us feel very welcome and were professional. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was perfect. I would definitely stay again.
