Station House was easy to find, easy self check in/out. It was clean and modern, and I loved having my own kitchenette. Would definitely stay again when in Plymouth.
Pleasantly surprised for the money that we paid. Room was clean and tidy. Towels and tea and coffee provided. Shower was good.
Although no parking at the property, they provided you with lots of information where you could find parking.
About a 20 minute walk into the Barbican.
Would stay again.
Due to the horrendous weather we were 30 min late because of road closures. Expecting sympathy and understanding at the door we were greeted with ' what time do you call this'
The owner proceeded to abuse me saying can you not follow a sat nav and you must be the clever one who booked and didn't look at the check in time.
After apologising for being late, i was told in no uncertain terms that i needed to pay a fee or we wouldn't be allowed to stay, because i had pre paid i had no choice in the matter.
Finnaly got into the room to discover a cat sitting on my bed! Showing us the ensuite bathroom the owner turned the shower on and all the electrics blew!
The icing on the cake was when she finally got the lights back on we discovered a nice big cat turd in the middle of the floor and to top it off when i asked for it to me cleaned up it was like it was my fault!
The rudest aroggant person i have ever met and you could pay me to stay here again.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Do not stay here, when we arrived told us we had not booked a room with them,i showed a copy of my booking.then had us waiting around on the doorstep FOR ABOUT 5 MINS,Than decided to let us have a room.and wanted us to pay for the room again.I showed again the copy of my booking, showing we have already paid,DO NOT STAY HERE TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY
unfortunately I wouldn t recommend this guest house at all

Very good location
Limited free on street parking saves costs but be there in the evening to claim it. Very good location for station, university and city centre. Old building, traditional décor, clean. Breakfast fine.
The guest house is located in a good area but the room is too tiny with a single bed only. Breakfast is very limited and I would not call it a continental breakfast. The bathroom and toilet is shared. Good point is: a. Free wifi b. the owner is quite friendly and polite.

Value accomodation
The room was compact but adequate. A little dated but clean enough. The owners were welcoming and friendly. I did not have breakfast. Comfortable stay.
Not a great deal. Pretty shabby place. I was not allowed to check in until 4. I called in at 1 to leave my bag but no one was there. The TV did not work properly, and there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. I had to leave at 8.25 to get the 8.40 train on a Sunday morning, and breakfast was not served until 8.30. So I had to leave without a shower or food.
would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast rather than continental and for the breakfast times to be longer 8-8.30 is just not enough time. otherwise hotel was clean and comfy staff were very nice.
Hotel's only saving graces are it's proximity to the station and wifi access. Apart from that it was dreadful. Room not at all as implied by the picture on listing, room not ensuite which was not highlighted in the listing and no alternative en suite rooms available. Walls between rooms are simply partiitions so neighbours will keep you awake. For £10 more I could have booked the IBIS and wish I had.
A standard B&B, but it felt basic and the property needs more TLC

Avoid this place
We arrived about 13:30 to find the place closed. Apparently they only open at 16:00 hrs. where the listing said check-in was 14:00. We had to make several phone calls from the street and someone contacted them so they finally came around 15;00. Continental breakfast is from 8:00 to 8:30 only. Checkout is 10:00 and the lady was at our door at that time. Convenient location to rail and downtown but that's all we can say.

Fine for an overnight stay. Great location.
Good value for money B&B. Very welcoming owners. Nicely appointed bathroom. Bed firm and comfortable. The room, though very clean, seemed a little dowdy. Fine for an overnight business trip, but personally I would not choose it for a longer stay. Continental breakfast OK, if slightly disappointing
A excellent 2 night stay. Ideal location by city center, room though small was in fine shape, breakfast was good, and price is fantastic. Easy to recommend for a short stay.
A nice welcome, unfortunately was the best bit about the stay. Room was very dated, looked cheap and disappointed that the breakfast was only continental for the cost. Would say this is over priced and not particualrly convenient to the city centre
