Perch small · Treehouse-Eagles Perch over the water

The Stunning Small 175 sqft Tree house looking over the Strait of Juan De Fuca is a total North-West Washington experience. It is made of cedar with rustic touches. Inside the floor-to-ceiling window look out onto the straight and constantly moving landscape of cruise ships, wildlife, and bald eagles soaring across your window. Who needs TV when you have such a captivating changing scenery. Never miss the Sunset as you snuggle on the couch or private porch.
The treehouse has a loft bedroom.

To add to your total experience, you can use the outside counter or grill for cooking and the sink outside for drinking water which is the only running water in the Perch. There is a hot plate, microwave, Keurig, refrigerator, and all basic cooking and eating utensils.
You will need to venture Outside down the stairs to the full private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.

This is a double-unit treehouse. Although it shares a wall with another treehouse, it was built to accommodate maximum privacy--even the walls are soundproof! This unit is the smaller of the two and is meant for 2 people--however, with the floor-to-ceiling window, it does not seem so small. We have designed windows, and porches to be private and have your own space.

If you'd like to see the other side of the treehouse, you can check out my profile for my other listings.

The Treehouse is on a high bluff built for 2 and soaring 20 feet high in the trees. Experience warmth with cedar and wormwood walls with rustic touches, kitschy games, and books.

We do allow dogs for a fee of $35-$45 per pet per night

We are .9 mile to the 30-mile discovery bike trail. 20 min to downtown Port Angeles or Sequim, Lavender fields, water activities on the strait, Olympic Game Farm, Forks (home of twilight books)1 1/2hr, Less than 1 hr to mountains, surfing, Crescent Lake, Sol Duc Hot springs-SOO many things to do in nature.

We have 2 fire pits out on the bluff and many seating options to enjoy the different scenic spaces around the property
These spaces could be shared by other guests

You may text me with anything you might need. Or if you want complete privacy you will have it.

The Treehouse is on a tranquil dead-end road on a one-and-a-half-acre lot. You must drive through a neighborhood development to get here, but our street is the last one-way on the corner.

You will need transportation. The town of Port Angeles and Sequim are 10 miles away. The bus line is 2.8 miles away. The bike trail is .9 miles to the entrance. The Olympic National Park trails are about 45-1 hr away. The closest grocery store is 10 min.
Outside lights can be plugged in outside by counter. Outside shower is at the South side of the house in the fenced area- just go through gate. There are 2 parking stalls to park at. Outside water is drinkable. There is a butane stove in a case inside(cook outdoors), there is also a toaster oven or skillet. The grill outside are for your use.
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.
Guests will find features like onsite parking.

Misleading listing / not happy /left early
The views where amazing, the unit itself is not. The pictures display a large treehouse and they have split it into two units. One much larger than the one we stayed in. The "Perch" is maybe 150 square feet with 100 on the main level and maybe 50 up a very steep ladder to a landing that doesn't have much headroom to where the bed is. There is zero running water to this unit, the one next door has a full bathroom and kitchen area. The "Perch" DOES NOT. It had a tiny outdoor coldwater sink not big enough to wash dishes. The bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs meaning you have to climb down a ladder from the bed to steep stairs down to the bathroom. The main living space is very cramped and there is nowhere to put your luggage unless you want to take up the couch/single bed area that is really the only place to sit. The location is accessed through a neighborhood with houses right next to the property that you can see from the deck of the treehouse. NO PRIVACY. There are not curtains on all the windows and and as soon as we got there, a family was getting into the wood burning hot tub directly in front of your windows. We are on our honeymoon and the treehouse did not live up to the promise of seclusion. We left the property a day early and the told the host but she (Beverly) did nothing to remedy the situation. I paid $2080 for three night and a "romance package" for the property it was rip-off.

Lovely Stay!
This treehouse was a really nice stay for our daughter and her new husband! They loved how cute it was and the location was really beautiful. When we originally booked the stay a while back, we did not know that the property was shared outside. I think the listing reflects that more now. There were some issues with the door locking from the inside, but other than that, they had a great stay!

Listing of treehouse misleading thought was getting big side but got small side (2 separated tree houses) even talk about people being confused in there manual on site but still confusing . So wasn’t very easy using bathroom on ground floor especially having a disability. Other than that Overall very cool

Perfect place to stay for our Olympic Adventure
This was the first place we stayed on our tour of Olympic National Park. It is pretty small, but we fit perfectly. It might get a little claustrophobic if you have bad weather and are stuck in there all day for a couple days. We did both Crescent lake and Hurricane Ridge (well we tried, it was closed partway up) and they were good distances from here. All of the other properties around this one looked very cool as well!

What a beautiful and unique place to stay! The view was out of this world. The treehouse was cozy, but just perfect for my husband and I. It had everything we needed and in a great location for exploring the Peninsula.

We *loved* it here. We only stayed one night, but I didn't want to leave. You really get a one-of-a-kind experience with this. The view, the ambiance...Overall it was just amazing. We spent the day going around to parks and beaches before check-in, so we could focus on just enjoying the view and relaxing. Understand that you are staying in a treehouse...One that is very charmingly detailed, very neat, clean, and comfortable, but still a treehouse. You share the property with other guests, and share a wall with a bigger treehouse unit, we barely ever heard anything from our neighbors. The bathroom at the bottom of the stairs was equally nice and comfortable. I was worried I'd be cold, but this was not the case at all. I didn't mind going down the stairs at night, especially since there is a motion activated light. They have everything you need in the little "kitchen", and I found the space to be fine for two people. You'll want to take your meal on the deck anyway. We also enjoyed the little firebowl on the deck as well. I could go on(and I have to my friends and family), but I'm running out of space. I can't wait to come back.

Magical stay at the Eagles Perch
This was our favorite stay on our weeklong PNW road trip. Every detail was perfect, from the games and books to the décor. A lot of thought and planning went into this place. Not only does it have wonderful ocean views but it is situated in the most peaceful neighborhood. Our host was very kind and accommodating. We had everything we needed and much more for our stay. My husband and I did not want to leave! 10/10 would highly recommend, we cannot wait to return someday soon.

Overall worth it.
Overall, we had a great time. Wonderful views of the straight and we saw numerous bald eagles. The treehouse itself was really cute and extremely well constructed. We would stay there again. Admittedly, though, if you are elderly or have issues with stairs or steep ladders this isn't the place for you.

This treehouse is certainly a unique experience. If you are over 6 feet tall, it is a bit of a challenge to get up/down the main sleeping area. The house is very clean and smells wonderful. The views are spectacular, too.

Charming treehouse getaway
Overall fun experience with beautiful views out window. The only sink is outside and the bathroom is downstairs and outside but that added to the charm. My only complaint was the daybed/sofa in the main area. It was an awkward piece of furniture, it seemed to have a patio sectional frame with a twin mattress thrown on top, this left part of the mattress unsupported and awkward to get in and out of or for two people to relax on. This was a shame because this is where the largest windows and best views are.

Cozy Tree Glamping
The rental was pretty small, perfect for two. Three would be a crowd. Didn’t expect the construction site to be so close or so big! The detached bathroom at the bottom of two flights of stairs wasn’t ideal. The weather definitely had an impact on that, wind rain & snow contributed my late night fall on the way to the bathroom. Definitely feeling it the next day ☹️ The old board names and puzzles kept us entertained for a couple hours, Christmas in Port Angeles is so beautiful, driving around looking at the Christmas lights was such a highlight of the night. This will be one of our most memorable vacation rentals of all time ☺️

Beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay at the tree house. The property has an amazing view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the small bench and picnic table near the bluff make for a perfect viewing location. My favorite part of the tree house (oddly) was the bathroom. It had an amazing fresh cut pine aroma that was simultaneously refreshing and relaxing. The tree house itself is definitely designed for the nimble--the ladder to the sleeping area was very steep and the main area was a little cramped, even for just two adults. The property where the tree house is located is shared with several other homes/rentals, which means that your experience might vary based on who is staying in the other dwellings. We were unfortunate to have what seemed to be a frat party staying at one of the houses and they were playing beer pong in the yard and generally being loud. It definitely detracted from the overall experience but we had a nice stay in general.

The best little treehouse!
We recently eloped to WA state, after camping for several days, the treehouse was a nice little getaway. My husband and I stayed in the treehouse and our family stayed in the cabin on the same property. It was so nice to be able to celebrate with everyone, but still have privacy. The treehouse was in a perfect location! The view was beautiful and the space was spectacular with so many unique touches. If we didn't live 30 hours away, we'd be back in a heartbeat!
