FOR THE 3 DAYS STAY , WE DID NOT HAVE ROOM SERVICE, THERE WAS NEVER A PERSON CLEANING OUR ROOM,JUST THE DAY WE WERE LEAVING.THEY JUST SUPPLIED THE TOWELS, WE WERE A GROUP OF 3 PEOPLE AND ONLY HAVE 2 BLANKETS THE FIRST DAY, THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT THAT GREAT.I WAS EXPECTING SOME THING MUCH BETTER FOR A CORPORATION LIKE THE HILTON. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL.

There were several large booms that sounded like demolition. When we inquired at the front they said a car had backfired … ha. Unlikely. Maybe a tank at that noise level. Also, the area down the street was so filthy and riddled when trash and tents. The hotel properly itself was lovely though! And the restaurant was amazing!

You have to do valet parking & it took like 30-45 minutes when checking out to get all of us in an elevator to get to the lobby. The elevator stopped like 10x but was full every time until the 11th time.

The location, hotel itself, staff and the breakfast were great. The room cleanliness wasn’t great. There was slimy mildew around the tub and the bathroom sink which means it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, and the shower curtain had mold on it. We marked that we had 4 people staying and asked for a roll out bed. When we arrived it was in the hallway so we had to move furniture around and put bedding on it (and only one sheet was with the roll out bed), seemed like a lot of work on our end considering we had told it would cost us an extra $30/night for this option. We also had to call down late at night to have bedding delivered for the pull out since there wasn’t any in the room for it. We still did enjoy our time though and would return if we stay in Portland again.

When we first arived we were rushed out of our car by the valet their was no cart for us to put our belongings on so we waited outside for 10mins with all of our lugage on the ground waiting for a cart. Once we did get a cart we waited another 5 mins to just get a elevator there was only a 8 person max and with the cart you can only fit up to 3 people in an elevator, 10 different times after we push the elevator button it came with an elevator withbpeople already on. The pillows were trriable, and there was mold in the shower. I have stayed at several different embassy suits and have alwasy had an enjoyable stay, this was not at all what i have come to expect from embassy sutis very disipointed.
