The hotel's location was perfect for seeing the sights of Porto. Superb views of the Ponte Luis I bridge and the town from the hotel restaurant, terrace and bar. The hotel was well appointed, very clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and good food!

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Breakfast is superb. Staying here gives you easy access to the park across the street where theres a sunset show everyday. Plus the elevator is a cheat coade for getting up and down the street

This hotel is absolutely spectacular!! The customer service was incredible! Staff always so friendly and helpful with everything. We had the daily breakfast included in our stay which had so much to offer at the buffet, both hot and cold options. The view from our room was outstanding and all the amenities in our room that we could ask for. The beds are so comfortable and we were able to even request cervical pillows as extras. The pool was lovely and the wine bar has a view out of this world. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here and hopefully one day we will have the privilege to return. Only a short walk across the bridge to downtown Porto but the view across from Gaia was just wow and especially at sunset and sunrise. Thank you to all of you for our wonderful stay in Room 805 while we visited from Canada. Your hospitality and generosity did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate the welcome drinks and free glass of wine as well. Thank you again for beautiful memories.

We had a lovely room. Nice clean hardwood style floor, a window that opened, and easy access to upper and lower levels of the Luis double decker bridge. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the welcome drink was a nice touch. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were impressed by the table, service, view and food.

Beautiful Hotel on the Douro
Beautiful hotel right on the banks of the Douro River. Rooms that face the river have great views of the bridge. It can be noisy with the crowds and train on the bridge.

If you want to explore Porto area on foot or easy access to public transit, this is the spot. We had a great stay for 4 days and always a pleasure returning to our room with a great view of the bridge. The restaurant and bar service of hotel is excellent.

This spot is amazing - multiple dining and drinking options in the hotel, excellent location, housekeeping was on point, views are insane, and if you want to avoid the stairs the hotel elevator can take you to the first floor for access to the lower part of the city or the 14th floor for access to the upper parts of the city. 10 stars.
