Older boutique hotel with affordable ocean view rooms with a large balcony. WiFi was great in the room, a few English channels on the TV and a rooftop sitting area with a small plunge pool. Very nice stay overall.

I will stay here again. This was my 3rd time in 4 years. Staff is top notch. If you want a 5 star expensive hotel this place is not for you. If you want a 5 star affordable hotel and you're not a complainer, I highly recommend. Location location. 10/10

Perfect location. Right by the beach and surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. The oceanview room is a must have! There was a balcony directly facing the beach and the kitchen was there for us to enjoy our food while watching the beach and hear the waves. I like how there were two beds that were separated by a wall for privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped but the stove wasn't working well. I wish there were more power outlets since there was only one by the other bed. We had to unplug the refrigerator to use the outlet to charge our phone. We enjoyed our stay overall and will definitely come back.

The location was the only good thing about this run down hotel. Broken down lounge chairs. Ripped lounge pads and only 10 lounge chairs on beach which they take away at 3pm. The rooms are very out dated and furnishings are dirty and worn out. Couch stained. Fridge which door would not close properly. I would never stay in the Emperadora ever again and I would warn everyone else to never rent this dump of a hotel. The restaurant staff are rude. Tried to kick us out of our beach chairs to give them to someone who was eating at the restaurant not staying at the hotel. Probably for a bigger tip. WARRING DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Property is ok, great area. Amenities in the room were slim to none. We had a room with a kitchen but they didn’t provide any soap or towels for washing dishes, we were cooking at least 2 meals daily….There was 1 fork and about 10 spoons. Only butter knives. We were in a room on the ground floor that had a gate just off the street. You had to have a key to get in or out…. They would only give us one key. Super annoying considering there were 3 of us. One person would leave and then the other person would have to call the front desk to be let out. AC was frozen when we checked in but we got it thawed out eventually. The filters in the AC were filthy and clearly not maintained. Paid for an ocean view but there really isn’t one on the ground floor. The lock for the slider to the balcony was broken and the tv was temperamental. The concrete hallway from the locked gate to the room made for an incredible sound tunnel. IT WAS SO LOUD! All day and night. Rooftop was nice as well as the beach access and location, plenty of stores super close to get what you need. Ok place especially for a reasonable rate but overall I’m not sure i would stay here again. I probably should have asked for a different room and we would have been more comfortable. Affordable no frills property with great location.

This is the second time I’ve stayed there. They have maintained the property. The best thing I enjoyed was the view!! The family suite was spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed the balcony. I will return and recommend to friends.
