One of the worst hotel stays ever. Definitely not a 3 star as advertised. Check in was tedious. The door to our room was wide open when we arrived. There were empty beer cans laying around on the patio. Washroom was tiny but had three floor levels which made for great tripping hazards in the night. When we ran the shower water poured out from under the shower stall into the bathroom. We had no blankets on our bed, just sheets. At first I thought that the one good thing was the view. We were a stones throw from the Malecon and looked out at The Bridge going into The romantique zone. Unfortunately the traffic and people noise was horrendously loud. To make matters worse they gave us ‘The Expedia Suite’ right below the night club/ bar and listened to pounding techno music and chairs and people stomping around above our heads. Shutting the windows didn’t help much but we did anyway and turned on the A/C which began dripping water in our heads as it was situated right above our bed. It was a night from hell. We checked out the next day despite having paid for two nights in advance via Expedia.

for an inexpensive hotel, it was fine. Provided drinking water and the pool and patio upstairs was nice. This was our second stay. Love the area and felt safe. Wifi in the lobby. Rooms were clean.

The hotel is in a great location, close to transportation and lots to see in walking distance. The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The wifi is not great, and pretty much non existant in the rooms, but good in common areas. Kept very clean.

The hotel’s patio is nice. The pool is a plus and the terraza has beautiful views. The location was good. The rooms are not as nice as outside, just average. We had problems with the bathrooms, clogged, the room I reserved was not available and did not even exist, No toilet paper or soap, we had to keep asking for it, and the sheets on the bed were dirty. Other than that it was ok.

Magnificent location. Beautiful property. So convenient. Pool was romantically enchanting. Restaurant was wonderful. So popular too. One of two in only a few blocks walk. Lively setting and kind staff. The building is homey and with an Hacienda setting.

Great stay over all! Friendly staff, hotel and restaurant. Clean, comfortable bed, great a/c, really nice rooftop pool and excellent happy hour, drinks and food. Only reason for less than excellent reviews were really hard pillows, no soap the first night, really worn towels and the toilet flusher was wonky - you had to alternate low flow and high flow every time. Great location - we will definitely stay there again!

Great little hotel
Great location. Acceptable rooms for the price. Pool on roof is nice, as is the restaurant. Wifi was not good - everyone is sitting in the lobby trying to connect; connection from rooms virtually nothing. Staff are friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby and 2 minute walk to the Malecon/ocean.

Second stay in 2024. First stay was given 2 twin beds… this trip reserved one double. Was given two twins again. The hotel says they have WIFI… it just isn’t true! If you sit in the lobby you can get it. Anywhere else on property, good luck! My TV didn’t work more than 3 minutes before “Lost Signal” appears. The hotel is very basic and I knew it… but basic services that are listed need to really be provided.
