Really needs to be repainted and carpets changed etc. looking very spent. Rooms are dated. Was clean enough, tv system is poor. I would never pay more than £80pn for it though.

The hotel was very well located. The room was clean and a reasonable size. We had asked for a walk-in shower as we are both in our 80s - we were given a rather tired bathroom with shower facilities. That was disappointing.
The main complaint was that there was no literature or information in the room about what the hotel itself had to offer, or about the surrounding area or - more important - how the telephone could be operated to get an outside line or to contact reception. For security / emergencies this is surely an important consideration for older guests.
The lighting in the room was inconvenient - with two lights over the dressing table/desk to one side of the bed and NO light over the other side. NOT a good arrangement if one person wants to read and the other (on the desk side) wants to sleep!
Finally, PARKING. There is parking at the hotel. On the Monday before our stay I phoned the hotel to ask whether there was sufficient parking - and was told that it was available on a "first come first served" basis. We were quoted a charge of £45 per 24 hours. Not being willing to chance not being able to park, we decided to check out a parking APP. To our annoyance we discovered that we could book a place AT THE HOTEL (!!!) - and that the charge for 28 hours was only £32. Guests at the hotel should have priority - NOT a car space booking App!!
OK business hotel in a good location. Quite possibly the worst hotel restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. I didn’t fancy a trip out because I was tired so I went to Bugis.
Bugis is an on-site ‘Singapore style’ restaurant with just a few items on the menu.
Most of the beers on the menu were unavailable, but that’s ok.
What was not ok was the food. I assume prepared off-site and slopped up as required. I had a lump of stodgy they called Nasi Gorang, with a fried egg that looked like it had been cooked the day before. Just dreadful.
Very basic - from the rooms to the quality of customer service. multiple issues during our stay, took almost 10 days after leaving to resolve. Wont be staying here again. The whole hotel needs a good clean and some customer servicer training.
