The property is beautiful. The pool is deep and clean. We had privileged room after taking shower the bathroom smelled of sewer very strong. The servers at the pool bar are very nice but you had to wait long time for drinks. Restaurants were ok nothing specifical.

Air conditioner didn't work right. They replaced the motor and I had motor loud all night. I had a short smell and water leaking out of the ceiling. No refrigerator didn't work and bugs in the room.

I’ve been to other resorts before and I have read unpleasant reviews for this one but I honestly loved everything from the moment I checked in to when I left your bed are bed everyday and they sweep and mop if your towels needs to be changed you just place them on the floor to do so if you like your sheets change let them know people need to be more realistic bc at home you don’t change your towels nor sheets everyday and I notice ppl complaining about such thing , I personally loved all 4 restaurants they have which you do need to book reservations for so book once you get into your rooms my fiancé and I stayed in the family side which we loved it because they had way more things going on we met people in the adults and they said if you want quiet and like a ghost town then the adult side if for you. I also enjoyed their buffets and snack bars which snack bar is open until 2am wonderful for those late night cravings . Oh their coffee shop amazing !!!!!!!! I’m from the culture and they had a lot of our culture foods like the mangu in the mornings which it was a hit and rice and beans as well as fruits and a lot of other varieties but as well as Americanize foods definitely recommend if this is what your looking food everyone is amazing and friendly!!! Thank you Catalonia will be going back !!

Beach was wonderful! Room has mold. They try to find a room without mold ( 3 rooms) and they couldn’t put us in any without mold in. It was a terrible experience, we stay 7 nights in a room with mold with 3 kids!!! I will not recommend this location is unhealthy to sleep in a room with mold. Is sad that they have a great location and don’t care about to fix the big problem that they have with the mold.

This place was horrible. I’m comparing it to Dreams I guess but would never stay here again it’s like a 2 star. Room with ants and beds with mold. Food was not it and pool are was subpar.

The beach was awful brown water unkept the service was extremely slow which seemed to be on purpose our room was at all times very hot the AC was clearly not working properly we did not enjoy our stay but made the best of it for our children

The buffet could have been better. Some of the food seemed undercooked while other food was overcooked. Along with the selection for room service. The staff was friendly and nice. The golf course was not as advertised. The course was not in the best condition, plus you had to pay for the drinks on the course.

We had a decent 7 night stay, the price was very affordable. Sometimes food options were limited. We were disappointed to learn that the pools close at 7PM. They would often run out of beach towels for the pool. There is transportation to a nearby golf course, but the course at the resort was closed during our stay. Wildlife was mostly ducks and small cats. Our room was comfortable and the staff was friendly, but many did not speak a lot of English.
