The website and the person at check-in said they had room service. When I called, they said, "We're really busy right now. There's lots of restaurants near by. Why don't you go there?" The headboards in the room were covered in cheap pleather that peeled and fell off into the sheets whenever you moved. The service person who came up to check our air conditioning was rude to the point of being frightening. The area around the hotel is filled with graffiti and a very large unhoused community. They charged an exorbitant fee for very poor quality. It is walkable to get to Old Quebec, if you are in good shape. There are a few cute coffee shops nearby.

My room was quiet, and the bed comfortable, but there were a few problems. My room looked over the atrium so I couldn't open the windows, and the ventilation system piped in cooking odours in the morning. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, although one was delivered fairly quickly. The bathrobe and towels were threadbare. I didn't see much "plus" to this hotel.

Unfortunately our stay was not pleasant as we discovered bed bugs shortly after going to bed! The hotel was not able to move us to another room in the hotel nor did they feel they would be able to secure a room at another hotel near the train station. We checked out of our room at 2:00 am and spent the rest of the night in the hotel lobby none of us getting any sleep. I requested a refund when we checked out but as I made the reservation through Expedia I was informed that the hotel could not issue a refund - it would need to come from Expedia. NOT pleased!! The fact we found bed bugs did not seem to shock the staff member even though he apologized for the incident. I would not recommend this hotel!
