Best beach on island in my opinion. Room needs tlc. Bed ok quite peaceful. Transportation is quite expensive to anywhere. Nice restaurants walkable. Need more beach chairs as have the people who put towels on chairs and leave for hours. Hate that. All spots gone by 7 am and nobody there until hours or never. Buffet ok Bed ok

Thumbs up for Tubtim.
Tubtim Beach is one of the great places in the world for a reclusive holiday. It is a beautiful stretch of sand overhung by tropical rainforest trees. The newly opened Reef Lounge bar and restaurant nearby to Tubtim resort offers outstanding quality of food, drinks and service. Truly a wonderful part of Thailand on the eastern shore of Ko Samet. Not for the party crowd, this is somewhere to come and relax in nature.

check in was smooth and quick and overall the reception staff very good . nice bungalow not far from restaurant and reception ,booked garden view but dont know what they class as garden as we overlooked a roof. bed was comfortable ,shower pressure ok. nice to sit on landing but be warned mosquitos are rampart ,ask to borrow spray from reception and use lots of body spray. breakfast was very disappointing ,everything was cold ,chicken sausages,ham and other things sitting in bain maries all cold. egg station was good with eggs to order but lots didnt see it as was in small building next to restaurant and if you didnt know you wouldnt notice it..need signs in main area for show where it is. all meals we had were quite good tho and service ok. also notice speed boats direct to hotel only run on weekends so you might have to take shared van or they try and get you to pay 200 baht for private use. we waited to more ppl arrived to share then only 50 baht. beach at hotel was great and not far to walk along beach to other restaurants.

5th time here. Seafront villa. New bathroom installed & very good job 👍. Food & restaurant service needs drastic improvement ...compared to the several dining choices around the area. Quite a lot of rubbish left in front of my room for the 3 days I was there. Staff not taking it away. Management could do with walking around the property to check. Overall though a very pleasant time at the magnificent beach resort with coral reef directly out the front. Have enjoyed your fishing dogs over the past 7 or do years 😀

This property is quiet, relatively isolated and perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful with some being long time staff who take great pride in their resort. Although there is little to do other than water activities and lying back to listen to the sea, this is what makes it perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

This was my favourite place to stay in Thailand (after travelling for 4 weeks)! Loved Koh Samed the best. The hotel:resort was clean, very safe, tropical, relaxing, always chairs available, accommodating staff and a chill vibe. Water was crystal clear…. Amazing! Highly recommend.
