Our room was ok. Room location was inconvenient. From the main lobby, take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, walk across the skywalk, take the stair down a floor (carrying all your luggage), go to the end of the building to find your room. The room had French doors with a broken lock that opened to a porch in a courtyard of a Mexican restaurant that played loud music every night. Not a restful quiet experience by any stretch. The hotel is convenient located in the center of town, but no parking. Be prepared to pay a lot of overnight parking and walk several blocks to find a spot.

Booking this property through Expedia was very easy, and questions such as parking were quickly and thoroughly answered by the hotel staff using Expedia’s messaging. Parking out front, even long enough to unload your baggage can be a challenge and expect your parking to be easily several blocks or more from the hotel. There is an easy to use app to handle locating parking options and payment. Staff was efficient during checkin. We may have had one of the nicest rooms in the hotel, eighth floor with a 180 degree view over the waterfront and bay. The room was quiet; your experience may vary depending on your room. Breakfast was decent if unchanging and crowded, not unexpected for a larger busy tourist hotel. Location was great! Easy but not necessarily flat walking distance to many if not most in town shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Overall, pretty good. The staff were nice, things were clean. It was pretty clever and cute! However, wouldn’t recommend for anyone who needs a good night sleep - it’s bumpin’ out there all night! The bathrooms are also quite annoying. The water from the shower gets everywhere - even outside the bathroom. And if you turn on the light at night it disturbs the rest of the room as it shines through the frosted glass walls. And. There is a post in the middle of the rooms which impedes the flow of already quite small rooms.

Center Hotels Plaza is conveniently located close to Restaurants, shops and some of the sightseeing locations. I enjoyed my stay, my room was comfortable although the housekeeping was a little sloppy a couple of times. The staff was very pleasant - I highly recommend the Hotel.

This hotel is very nice and feels freshly renovated. The staff were phenomenal and friendly. The second you walk out the door you’re right in the middle of Reykjavík and are minutes from everything. This is also walking distance to bus stop 1. When I come back to Reykjavík this is where I will stay from now on.

Location is perfect. Taxis in front of hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. 15 minute taxi ride to cruise port and Sky Lagoon. Also, just a few minutes on foot to city hall which is first pickup stop for many tours. Staff is amazing.
