We've stayed at Royal Lahaina Resort many times and will continue to do so. The resort is lovely and the beach is amazing.

No hot water the first 3 days with no follow thorough by the staff to ensure it was working. Then got moved from a bungalow to the tower sold to us as a "upgrade" we wanted to stay in a bungalo. Managementsaid there were no bungalows avaliable even though i had one in my cart from their website and all I had to do was confirm payment. I didnt want to pay for 2 rooms so we moved. While we had hot water, the room was in poor conditon and has an old rotting carpet smell.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, management team could use improvement in customer service. Ocean front bungalow had large tent in front blocking view and portable toilets next to room. No advance notice of event taking place during stay. Had bugs in room and manager reluctantly placed us in new room after first night, which was better. Front desk agent Kennedy was outstanding and beach activity staff Elli was amazing along with bartender Marc. If it wasn’t for them we would have left. We tried to extend stay but they referred us back to Expedia which returned our request to hotel but no response was received. We checked out as planned and found a different hotel to stay at.

Due to a scheduling error at another resort, we had to find a last minute accommodation. The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows had availability at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful with a remarkable view.

It was a great stay. However, they were hosting an event directly between our bungalow and the beach, we had workers walking up on our patio all day Fri-Sunday.

The perfect Maui getaway
Absolutely a dream. We’ve stayed in Maui several times but this was our first time at Royal Lahaina, we will be coming back! The property is beautiful, clean, and feels like the true Hawaiian experience. Staff is wonderful, kind, helpful, professional, and SO friendly. Rooms are beautiful and updated. Ocean and pool were clean and did not feel crowded. 10/10 would recommend the ocean view bungalow and would recommend Royal Lahaina to anyone visiting Maui!

The fan inside the bathroom is noisy. Light inside the bathroom it fell down. no daily cleaning room, two days clean only once. no drink water inside the room.

Breathtaking view from the small balcony. The room is dated but clean although it smells musty; there must be something the hotel can do about this despite the moisture and humidity. We left balcony door open to lessen the musty smell. Pls check any leaks in the room before handing out room keys. Restaurant and bar at the lobby leading to the pool and private access to the clean sandy beach. Grounds are clean. Laperts ice cream also serves coffee onsite a plus. Resort trolley service nice to have. Staff are accommodating.
