Excellent hotel to explore the downtown area! Close to shops, restaurants, and fun bars. The only downside was no private parking, that said there's fairly close paid parking at the Laugavegur parking garage.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Very simple but everything you need. Yes, smaller in size and not a ton of room for big luggage but you’re in an amazing location so you shouldn’t be in your room alot anyway. Walkable to all the show, restaurants, cafes, bars, rainbow street, and more. Very nice staff. Attached cafe was great (and a discount)!

Staff were very friendly. Hótel was in the good location and walkable ,everything was around. Only issue It was a bit noisy from outside and dinning room when you are over it , but after changing my room ,it became quite.

Was great location - right along the main strip and walking distance to many bars including those with live music. Also has a grocery store right next door so if you’re traveling all over with a car you can stock up. Was a great room and cool vibe too

Hotel Von was perfectly located near everything we wanted to see and do in Reykjavik. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room free of charge. Would absolutely recommend to those coming to stay in Reykjavik.

Really enjoyed the two nights I stayed at Hotel Von. It is extremely central & walkable, being on the city’s popular shopping & entertainment street, Laugavegur. Staff were friendly & courteous. Would definitely recommend for a few days stay in Reykjavik!
