Would I stay here again? In short, no. The pictures listed online are clearly outdated. The Regalia looks beautiful online with it's front fountains, contemporary style, and modern look/feel. That however is not the reality of the property. Everything is outdated. The fountains outfront are empty and just look like giant holes. Elevators are slow, hotel doors making noises when you open them, or the mechanical device that unlocks the room don't work altogether.
When we arrived we were placed in a room on the first floor. When we came back the first night after being out late we found that our key card would not unlock the door. We had to track down the night front desk staff, Jesse, who was appalled that we were placed in the room to begin with because it is 'well known that room 1024 has issues.' He could not get into the room with a master key card and had to break into the hotel room though the sliding glass back door (thankfully we forget to lock it) to get is back in. We were told to come back in the morning to get a room change.
I came back in the morning and spoke to a front desk attendant who was less than helpful. It felt dismissive and all she did was remake the key cards and said she will send maintenance down to have it looked at. He came, said he would be back and never came back. We waited for an hour and finally gave up. We went back and talked to front desk staff, Rachel, who remedied the situation by putting us in another room.
