We have stayed here several times in the past as we traveled home from Nebraska and were always satisfied as we just wanted a clean and comfortable room for the night and a shower in the morning. This time however, we were very disappointed. When we went to our room, we could not get our door open. I went back to the desk and the attendant Zack, came back with me. He literally had to put his shoulder into the door to get it to open. When we got in, it was warm, but we figured the air had just been turned on, so we thought it would cool down. It didn't so my husband called to see if they had a different room for us to stay in. Zack was very accommodating and moved us to another room just a few doors down. It was much cooler. Zack was very apologetic about the whole thing. We slept comfortably for the night. In the morning however, the toilet backed up. I called the desk to see if they would bring a plunger to clear it. After waiting 20 minutes I walked down to ask for the plunger. They had to look for one which made me feel that my earlier call was not a priority for them. There were just two people standing around talking. Again, I know that we did not pay a premium for amenities, just a clean, comfortable and safe stop for the night. We should have at least gotten that.
