This is a basic but very adequate hotel. We were in town for a family funeral so several of us had rooms. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! Very sweet and helpful. We had a couple of times that we were all gathered in the lobby and it got a bit loud with conversation. She was very tolerant of it. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The breakfast room is fine.

I loved how nice the pool and hot tub area was. The breakfast was good especially for being complimentary. The front desk staff was nice but the lady who checked us in was very short spoken and seemed a little annoyed. My one and only complaint was there was 2 spots on our shower curtain that had blood and some dark hairs in the tub that were definitely not ours. Other than that everything was perfect. The room was very spacious. Parking was very easy. The neighborhood was great. Having a walmart so close you can walk to was awesome. The front desk also sold little items in case you needed something in the middle of the night when walmart was closed. I definitely recommend this property and plan on returning for all of our grand rapids trips which are at least annually.

The only negative I have is the carpets should be shampooed from time to time. I had white socks that turned black within an hour. The carpet appeared to be vacuumed but years of dirt is hidden.

The check in was easy and efficient. The room was spacious, except for the bathroom- not much room to move. The shower head was broken so the water pressure was AWFUL. The room appeared clean, but whatever spray was used during cleaning was literally choking. Items from a previous guest found in the sofa bed.

Property was clean and well taken care of. The little things are obviously important to the owners like clean corners and folded towels in the Pool area. The beds are probably the only downfall but I can overlook the mediocre mattresses for the rest of the positives. A functioning and clean pool/hottub in a Michigan hotel…..UNREAL! We’d stay here again no doubt.
