Never again!!

Not so good, I checked in close to 4pm which is their check in time. They placed us in a handicap room without even telling us upfront. We were just leaving bags and heading out to dinner & valet said if you’re not down in 10 we’re parking your vehicle. They did and when we requested our vehicle they asked us to wait at one location, we waited 20 minutes, when we went to inquire our vehicle was parked at front entrance. There were 2 vehicles in the same spot when we arrived at the hotel, why their vehicles were allowed to remain at front of hotel for over 30minutes is my question. When we returned from dinner I asked front desk why they gave us a handicap room all he Cordia say was in sorry but that’s all that was available (lies). I spoke to the manager at check out and she pretty much confirmed my suspicion, because we booked through a third party the rates are much lower than what they charge. Their website had the same rates. We were treated differently because we booked through a third party. All I heard this weekend over and over was I’m sorry.

The rooms are nice, the elevators are fast. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and staff maintains the property well. We had a bayview and could also see the city and bay bridge which were wonderfully lit up at night. The restaurants in the hotel serve amazing food at high prices. The free wifi was terrible and casting Netflix to the television was frustrating. This location in Corpus Christi is ideally located for driving to the aquarium and driving to beautiful beaches to swim. Within walking distance there are many wonderful restaurants and pubs, a cute little park with flowers, birds, butterflies, and friendly squirrels. I was surprised that the hotel charges guests for parking since it has own garage. We stayed 3 nights and parking was almost $60. We also paid to park at the beach $12 for a pass conveniently purchased at Stripes, a well stocked gas station with nice bathrooms. The aquarium charges $7 for parking and almost $50 per person, which is well worth the cost as they have a beautiful view of the bay life, petting ponds, dolphins, otters, sea turtles and jellyfish galore. The USS Lexington is another iconic attraction near the aquarium and the Selena Memorial is a short walk from the Omni. Construction around Corpus Christi had most of the bridges and freeways blocked up as they are rebuilding after hurricane damage. It didn't take long to get through, so overall I was pleased to visit this beautiful town and stay at the Omni!

The Omni use to be the stuff, listen…their standard as far as individual rooms has not be updated and does not live up to the old school Omni standards.

Beautiful stay

It was wonderful, a bit outdated but beautiful nonetheless. Room service & privacy was excellent. The only complaint would be the AC in the room was not working properly.

When we checked into our room, the first thing we encountered was a snack tray and bucket with champagne. Someone came in right behind us and said "sorry, this is not yours. It was a mistake." It was not ours, but they promised to bring waters and extra room coffees for the inconvenience. That did not happen. We used the bathroom, only to find the toilet was never cleaned from the previous guests, and long black hair was in the shower/tub. We called guest services to get that fixed and left the hotel

I really like staying at Omni's and I normally don't too much time in the room. However, on this last stay my wife was feeling ill, so we stayed in. The WiFi was extremely frustrating and the latency, even after upgrading was disappointing. Not to mention the casting functionality was archaic, discombobulated and useless. After notifying management, Erin waited to contact me after I checked out.
