We were sent a detailed video on how to check-in outside of their office hours. We had trouble finding the keycard but we called on WhatsApp and it turned out we were looking in the wrong spot - our mistake! Thank you to the staff for answering and being friendly. The room is very tiny but this is to be expected. As others have said, they make excellent use of the space and we never felt cramped. All the amenities worked great: cold AC, TV with lots of channels, mini-fridge, safe, and a small kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies just outside our door. The bathroom and shower were great. It is important to note you may have to run the hot water for a few minutes before it gets hot. This is typical for very old buildings. Once it's hot it's steaming! We stayed for 3 nights and only needed the room cleaned one of the days. After a day of sightseeing we came back to an absolutely spotless room the same as when we first checked in. Thank you again to the staff! The hotel is easily walkable to most sightseeing locations in Rome. Because it's also in the "middle" of lots of sightseeing, it was convenient to stop in at the hotel to change clothes, fill up our water bottles, or rest between locations. Just outside your door is the beautiful Opera theatre and many wonderful restaurants and bars. The restaurant just around the corner that the hotel recommended (Osteria il Riposto) ended up being our favourite. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a great stay!

A lovely hotel that is in a perfect location! Everything is within easy walking distance and it is just a 5 min walk from the Roma Termini station. Lovely rooms and secure building with friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back if in Rome.

We had a wonderful stay at Ai Vinimale inn. We couldn’t make it in time for the from 8:00am to 4:00pm check in time, so Daniele (who works at the front desk) reached out to us and sent us a video to explain how we could check in without any front line staff need. Front line staff Daniele and the young lady (whose name I have forgotten) she helped us look for a place that we could do our laundry were Excellent. It would have been over the top if we had a refrigerator in our room. Very nice place loved the service

The staff was attentive and very helpful. The rooms are incredibly tiny, but they really use the space well to accommodate. Rooms were clean and location was walkable for transportation, as well as main sites. Would say here again.

Great central Rome accommodation
Enjoyed our stay at this cozy and convenient hotel. Just a five minute walk from Roma Termini station. Clean, comfortable room and beds. Modern bath. A/C (thank goodness!) Coffee station just outside our room. Walking distance to many of Rome's attractions. Greeted quickly and efficiently. Lots of great advice from the front desk. Would stay here again when in Rome.

Location and room itself was excellent. The video they sent showing how to get In has to be Listened to but I keep volume off in public so was reading the Italian title which I thought said go to the 6th floor but It said go to the 3rd floor, room 6. It took a long time to figure out. And no one answered the 1 of 3 phone numbers that was mentioned to contact. They should change the title of the English video to English especially for hard of hearing or deaf people.

Staff were very helpful before starting our stay at the hotel. They communicated through WatsApp and always responded promptly. The building is old (so it has a character) but a room has modern facilities, such as a speaking door lock and a fancy bathroom.

We like staying in places that we feel somewhat reflect the historic ambience. However, had I not been faced with paying up front with a GRATUITY request, via their hand held payment machine, I would have felt much better about the legitimacy of this establishment. I won’t be coming back.

Convenient location. Interesting property. Friendly staff. Check in easy. I had a few issues with the room hot water being warm at best regardless of settings. But it seemed to be isolated to my room. It’s not the best for sound proof. TV sounds, people by the shared coffee station and road noise may interfere with your sleep. The elevator area is shared with other businesses and cigarette smoke smell is really strong. But it’s super close to the train station.

The host was not super helpful, zero flexibility. There was no hot water, the first day was cold showers, we did tell the host but he insisted it was hot. The second day the showers were luke warm. We found small spiders on the bed and when we showed it to the host he laughed it off by saying that it was an old building. We wouldn’t stay there again.

Newly renovated bathroom
The toilet seems newly renovated, very new. Like that there were two big drawers to contain all toiletries. Shower heads and temperature of water were great. There was a pantry outside the room with a capsule coffee machine, kettle and free flow of coffee and tea bags. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, showed us to the room as well as directions on the map. Location was great, minutes from Roma Termini, Carrefour just around the corner and many eateries around. Overall was very satisfied with the hotel!

Don't stay here.
I recommend you not stay here. The pictures are misleading. The beautiful building is the opera house across the street. It has nothing to do with this hotel.This hotel does not have a lobby, just a small dingy office. The breakfast pictures are very misleading. Breakfast is at a small restaurant a few feet away and it is the most mediocre American breakfast I have ever seen. The plumbing is terrible. When the toilet was flushed the toilet seat got wet. I told the manager and he said the water pressure was too high and he would call a plumber. It wasn't fixed. He offered another room but it was already late and we were leaving the next day. The faucet in the sink shot out a jet of water that splashed everywhere. And the shower was just weird. The front desk was open from 8:00 - 4:00. One of the other guests started making a lot of noise at 3:00 in the morning but there was no one to call. Of all the hotels we've stayed in this is one of the few I will never stay in again.
