On entering our ‘two bedroom deluxe suite’, as described on your website, the first thing we noticed was how dark it was, even though we arrived in the middle of the day. The second thing to hit you was the awful smell. This, we discovered was down to the permanent damp in the room, compounded by the mould in the bathroom (see attached pictures) and the permanent condensation on the windows. We did not use the air conditioning unit whilst we there so it cannot be attributed to this. The smell was revolting, none of us wishing to stay in the room any longer than was necessary, it invaded everything. It was particularly lucky that none of us had any respiratory conditions.
I can only conclude that it is due to the constant condensation that has caused the curtains to shrink so they no longer completely cover the windows.
I had spent a long time researching accommodation in Rome as we required two separate bedrooms with two double beds. This was advertised as two bedrooms with two queen size beds. Unfortunately upon arrival we entered through what could only be described as a sitting room with wardrobes and a fridge. The single bed had been made up in the main bedroom. There was no explanation from staff that the couch was a pull out, we discovered this and made up this bed using the single sheet. The advert is totally misleading, both with pictures, showing a light, bright room and with the description.
I have also included a picture of the cracked toilet seat, in addition th
