Room service reception was in another building 5min walk away. First day they put me in the wrong room and had to stay there over night when I paid for the better room, had to repack, two mornings in a row was woken up by there workers with drilling and banging on the walls once at 9am and even after I complained the next morning again at 10am, was not happy

Thank you for a perfect stay during our first trip to Rome! The hotel was perfect in size, cleanliness, and amenities. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is PERFECT !!! Walking distance to so much. The area is safe and quiet at night.

Amazing location right next to the Trevi Fountain. Perfect for a city stay. We loved the little cocktail par and the breakfast was delicious with gluten free options for my child who has ceoliac disease.

Very conveniently located to many important sites in Rome. Very walkable; or, if you prefer, a taxi station was very close nearby. My only negative review is that the room was incredibly hot. The a/c did not work well. We asked for a room change and were denied the request. We then asked for a fan...they said no fans. Finally, they sent someone to check the a/c; however, they thought it was working fine. In the end we got small portable fans and that's how we slept during the night. By the way, several other guests were complaining about the same thing.

UNCOMFORTABLE EXTREMELY TINY ROOM
I'm going to start with the negatives and then I will go with the positives. Negatives: When we arrived, we went the "Lobby" of Hotel 55. It wasn't a lobby, it was more like an office desk with a partition. Then a gentleman put our luggages in a golf cart and drove us like 5 blocks to the hotel. He took our luggages upstairs in an extremely tiny cute elevator. We were routed to La Maison d'arte Spagna. The bathroom didn't have any counter space, like zero. The room was extremely, extremely, extremely tiny. There was barely any room whatsoever for three of us that are normal weight. None of us are overweight. You can barely move in this room, especially when you have two large luggages and three carry-ons. There was no closet, nor a dresser to place your clothes. Just imagine having three luggages open and trying to maneuver in a very tight room. There was barely any room to walk in front of the queen size bed and there was no Luggage in front of the bed. The room was extremely uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin. Better hope not to have a room next to newlyweds, or your not sleeping. Amazingly, there was a hotel room, literally, inside the breakfast area. The door to the room was literally, inside the breakfast area. Never seen anything like that. Positives: The view from our small but cozy balcony was amazing. You MUST request a private balcony with a view of the Piazza del Popolo, a huge church in front. If not you may be looking at another building

We felt mislead about this property. The lobby was small room in the side of a larger building. There was no elevator. It felt weird. After checking in, the hotel porter took our two large pieces of luggage and led us up the road. About 300 meters north on Via del Corso, we entered a building, the “annex” building. In this apartment building, the hotel has a few floors where they have the place fashioned as with some basic hotel rooms. Our room felt clean, but worn. The patio was shared with the neighboring rooms. When we arrived there was a dance group doing their routine for the tourists. We heard the same Måneskin song play loudly on repeat outside, each time the dance group did their routine. I didn’t feel it worth the price I paid for the stay there. Check the reviews outside of Expedia to get more honesty.

Front staff is not helpful. When arranging transportation from hotel to airport they said I can pay with card then the driver told me only cash so in the middle of the trip we had to stop at ATM in the middle of nowhere. Not happy with hotel staff.
