The door was locked when I arrived, completely closed, so I was stranded with no working phone after the cab dropped me off. They rebooked me at another hotel further away from where I wanted to be and the bed was really uncomfortable. It made me sore for days. I’m disappointed because I did not receive any kind of notice before hand. I would have just cancelled and rebooked somewhere I wanted to stay.

Speedy to help.
Very comfortable with quick action if something was needed. My iPad chrger didn't work with their set up, so a piece was found that fit within a few minutes. Little things like that make life more comfortable.

Location was the only upside. Tiny bathroom and AC was poor
I’ve just spent a fortnight here and loved my stay. It’s an old building, old-fashioned in decor, and kept immaculately clean. My room was quiet, had a comfortable bed and great bathroom. All staff- reception, cleaning, breakfast- are very friendly and helpful. This is excellent value.
sometimes the cold water was turned off, but it was returned quickly.
clean, airy and nice

OK for a "pit stop"
Hotel Siviglia promotes itself as a 3 star hotel and that's pretty much what they are. The checkin process and overall service was good. Keep in mind, this is a very old building. The lobby and accesses to rooms are very nice and decorated really good. The room we had was a bit odd, only due to the fact that there was an obvious lack of "ventilation" evidenced by a pretty good amount of mold in and around the shower and a pretty strong odor of sewer from time to time. Overall, a good enough place to spend one night in as a "pit stop" but we would probably not stay for more than that.
This is a good hotel for a holiday in Rome. It is near a metro and the central station is the next stop. There is a supermarket nearby. My single room was small but I did get a balcony. The breakfast is good and the staff are pleasant. Two downers: the power points are three-pin so the adaptor you brought with you will be of no use! And the Wifi is not secure.

Rough around the edges, good value for location
Rustic, quirky, slightly rough around the edges with a good location and helpful staff. Two of our three beds were a little uncomfortable. The aircon worked well in the August heat and water was warm for showers. Location was convenient for the main station and for sightseeing on foot. Some of the decoration was worn and could do with a refresh, we felt this was fairly reflected in the price we paid. Good value for the location.

Colosseum by Night
Short overnight trip, great small, older hotel! Basics covered, walked to the Colosseum and surrounding area at night. Good breakfast in the morning too!
The hotel is conveniently located to the train station but in a very quiet location..

Nice but...
The hotel is quite convenient a short 10 minute walk from Roma Termini. The front desk staff are very nice and the hotel is quaint and has some elegance. There is a very nice breakfast buffet. On the minus side, rooms are small; the wifi is very spotty and slow and most importantly even though there is air conditioning, it hardly works!! This when the temp in Roma was hitting 39 degrees C. We had to keep our window open with the resultant noise of people going by, drunks, kids partying, etc. as well as the street lights shining into the room. in addition our room window was just above the garbage bins for the street ( we were on the first floor).
So overall I would give this three stars.

It was ok, great location, close to the main railway station
Nice hotel, close to Turkisk consultant 24 hour italian military outside so i felt safe at night. Bathroom is small, breakfast is same everyday. The bed is a bit hard. Mini bar is good. Elevator fits 3 max. Wifi is ok. You need to pay to use the internet. Overall is ok 10 minute walk to termini.
Close to everything touristic sights. Great Staff.
I had a great 10 days experience in the Hotel. The staff was really nice to me and very helpful. They gave me address for restaurants, a nice beach and many other things. Some of the staff could speak english, french, spanish etc....very professional. The Hotel is closed to everything in Rome, Villa Borghese, Colosseo, Vatican etc.... I walked every time. After 10 days there, I felt at home. Thanks a lot Siviglia!!!!
Needed a hotel for one night close to the Termini station. This hotel was perfect and right across the street from the embassies. Felt safe. (be aware that it is across from the Turkish embassy where there are two armed guards on duty 24/7 walking up and down the pavement). Hotel was nicely decorated in classical renaissance style. Checkin was quick and efficient. We had a corner room with nice balcony. Free buffet breakfast was excellent - a complete array of food and beverages. Would highly recommend this hotel for a quick night stay. (would not stay here for any longer as its near the Termini)
very disappointing, the place is in need of a lot of tlc. the breakfast room has a smell of damp with the roof stained. The paintwork in the room was chipped and cracked. The shower took 10 to 15 minutes to warm up
Walking distance to everything - safe as it is located on embassy row. Good wifi access, the only issue is if you have a room with a window on the street, the security detail talks loudly all night long.
Also - mosquitos! Bring a bet to hang over the bed, or spray.
this is a three-star hotel .... so don't expect 5-star standard BUT it is more than we expected!! room and bathroom was spacious and breakfast quite decent. very central
Highly recommend

Great location, Tatty Hotel.
Good location to see all of the major sights of Rome. Easy reach of metro stops and Termini station for transport to either airport. Hotel was tatty, badly in need of some redecoration or even cleaning. Room was small and dingy. 2 very small beds, they seemed to be child sized barely 2'6 wide. The room was obviously repurposed and the bathroom took a huge chunk out of it, leaving it oddly shaped and unable to accommodate a double bed. The bathroom was reasonably new but the loo was cracked, shower door corroded, shower head falling off the wall and silicon sealant mouldy. The mini bar was reasonably priced (can of coke 2 Euros) but the local supermarket was much cheaper. The staff were indifferent, the night porter was asleep when we went to check out and was snoring again before our cab came. The communal areas were smelly and really run down, not inviting at all. No safe available and the doors to the room were so old and damaged that we daren't leave anything of value in the room.

OK place
The service was good, and the location of the hotel was very convenient. The AC unit eased the stay, as Rome is still pretty hot and humid in August.
The place itself is old and probably hasn't been renovated since it was built. The bed could have been much more comfortable, the wardrobe smelled like "old", the breakfast room is in the basement and has no windows.
All in all, it was an OK place to stay for a couple of days.
