The location was convenient, breakfast was excellent.
Our room was lovely but we had sewer gas smell. They treated it 3 times during our 3 night stay but it always came back in the evening. Smelled it all night making sleep difficult. Property fully booked so they couldn't give us a different room. Our friends had a room on 3rd floor and it was fine.
3 different keys needed to get in the building and room plus keys were on a huge heavy key fob making it hard to take with you although you could leave them at the front desk but it was a few doors up. Be aware that checkin is up the street at a different property.
We wouldn't stay here again.
1. The smell in our room.
2. Using all the keys to get in and out. There was only 1 set of keys so if you wanted to go out separately, you couldnt get back into the building nor your room without keys.
Interesting access and decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a good sized room and was comfortable. Very filling breakfast and great location- walkable to everything.
Front desk Rosanna was very friendly and we enjoyed sharing laughs together. However the actual room is so small and noisy. Felt like we were sleeping in a box; no space for luggage, shower is nearly impossible to move in and we could hear every sound from neighbors through walls to people outdoors all night. Very old building. Also no wifi!! Even regular service was nearly blocked we couldn’t access the internet at all; when I asked if there was another option, the night front desk just told me “no it doesn’t work. No other wifi.” Breakfast was okay, bed was comfortable and location convenient (more up/downhill than we expected), but probably wouldn’t stay again. Thank you.
not advertised as pictured. There was no access to the outdoor patio, there is no parking included although it was listed. location was good, cleanliness was ok. there were very basic arrangements in the room (no coffee or tea, no refreshments in the mini fridge...). Based on the price paid, I thought it was going to be better
We stay there for 6 days. Breakfast was included at a restaurant in the same street. Every morning there was the same breakfast 6 mornings and we did not have a change to choose a different one. The service there was also cold and not friendly. The rooms are very old fashion and for a long time ago they should have redone the rooms.
beautiful clean room and best service far beyond my expectation.

Great location and staff but dated facilities
The location and friendly staff were great but the room itself was underwhelming. Could walk to most tourist sites with relative ease. Amazing to walk around the corner and see the Colosseum and the staff were easy to access and helpful. Room itself was large by European standards but dated and poorly laid out.
We had a family of 4 so they put us in an "apartment-style" room with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small kitchen. Everything looks pretty old - especially the bathroom. We found the kitchen area fairly useless. The built in bench seating was both uncomfortable and not arranged in a manner conducive to conversation. Also, we were there in the summer and only the bedrooms were air conditioned so the kitchen area was hot.
Small room, small bath (shower box), no desk to use laptop, room very hot (even though there is AC, they won't keep the AC Remote control available to adjust the temp). Looks like they bought a Condo Apartment and divided it in several tiny rooms.
They change towels everyday and clean the room. Confortable pillows. There is a tiny elevator to bring up the luggage (it only fits 3 people/250kg). Internet/wifi doesn’t work at all.
The property was wonderful, the staff was amazing and the room was very clean. We had a great time and the access to restaurants and the many tourist sites was great. We took a taxi most places and the staff was always great to arrange one for us.
The receptionist was really kind when we firstly arrived, showed us the surroundings of the hotel in a map. The room was really nice, and the air conditioner saved us from the external temperature. It is really well situated, really close to the Colliseum and other touristic places. Overall a really nice experience for what we needed.
Very Unique! This was an apartment chopped into individual rooms. We had a large (king?) bed and a pull out couch for the four of us. Along with the bathroom there was what used to be a kitchen and a very unique terrace space. It was nice to have the outside space but it overlooked another property below. Not an issue.. just different. AC was inadequate but that's how it is in Europe. The front desk was excellent and very helpful. Location is great. Very close to Coliseum and walkable to many other Rome highlights.
