This hotel is in a great location, it seemed to be right in the middle of everything. The staff here was great. There was one guy in particular that stood out to us. We never did catch his name but he served us coffee every morning. He was super nice, easy to talk to, very friendly and he was very helpful. The breakfast here was pretty average, muffins, toast, fruit. That being said there were still down sides of this hotel. The rooms are not very sound proof, so you can hear everything especially during breakfast. There is only one curtain so even if the blinds are closed you still have the street lights shinning in your room. The rooms didn't seem that clean to me. The floors looked like they could use a mop (or maybe they are just old), and the shower looked like it needed to be cleaned. Our shower didn't drain well so we were standing in a pool of water when we showered. During our stay the water was shut off one morning which made showering and using the bathroom interesting, this was not the hotels fault so I can't hold that against them. Overall I think I would try a different hotel if I was ever back in Rome
