This historic hotel was built in 1930. The rooms are clean with a comfortable bed but very small by modern standards. However, there is a sitting area on each floor next to the elevator with cushy chairs and sofas where you can read and visit quite comfortably. The elevator is original to the building complete with brass cage doors and while not as “efficient” as the modern elevator it is arguably way cooler. The included breakfast is a small hot buffet and assorted rolls, fruit, yogurt etc. Very tasty and better than the standard grab and go muffin assortment.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We left some items in the room, didn't realize it until we were home. Called the owners, they retrieved our items and shipped them to us. Our room was spotless and very clean. Our room was bigger and better than the online description. Great stay! Thank you!

Room was too small - maybe 10' x 10' at best. No telephone. Only a loud portable air conditioner/ heater combination. The bathroom sink was tiny. Most water fountains have a bigger bowl than this little sink. Only one small lamp with a low watt bulb and a ceiling fan/light combination. $120+ for a room that was this small and laced any ambiance was simple ridiculous and we'd never atay there again.
