The hotel was great for the price it is and the friendly staff it is great value for money and the location is 5mins from the train station and 5mins from the town centre.

Worth considering if you’re on a budget
Although at the lower end of the cost spectrum, this little hotel is actually quite a decent find. I’ve stayed twice now, and although the rooms are quite small, they were clean, comfortable and had comfy beds. If you’re on a budget, worth checking out.

For the money the hotel is great.I was in the single room and got a very good nights sleep and enjoyed the full English breakfast in the morning.

Basic and slightly tired accommodation. Bedding and towels clean but seat in room badly stained and did not use. Bulb hanging down from fitting. Staff friendly and booking in process good.

Cleanliness was good for the price and location the hotel is great value but remember there is steep stairs and no lifts.

Good stay, nice room but can be noisy
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were helpful and the room was basic but had everything we needed. The upside of this place is that it is close to the really nice bit of town, it serves a good breakfast and is very reasonably priced. The downside is that it is above a bar that is noisy. Our room was quiet but once the window was open you could hear the pub garden till around 12 on the weekends.

The staff were rude, the carpet was disgusting, the shower doors were hanging dangerously off, The noise from the bar was so loud, couldn't sleep, I had to buy pillows as they didn't have anymore, and the ones they had were not fit for purpose, horrendous
