The room was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The balcony was great where you could sit and have a cuppa and enjoy the view (overlooking the town and up to mountains). The king-size bed was super comfortable and the doona nice a thick. The bed was very noisy though with a lot of creaking from the boards. The A/C was efficient (when needed, which wasn't that often), the water pressure and temperature were ok, the wifi a bit hit & miss, sometimes working well, sometimes not at all. During my 5 night stay there was one short power outage. The breakfast was a choice of seven options (see pic of menu) but on my last two mornings I was offered more than one pick which was nice. I would have liked the breakfast to be served later than to 9.30 though. The lady receptionist was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The male one not so much. He didn't understand when asked about room service. It says on website that there is room service but I don't think there is. Nor did I see anyone eating lunch or dinner at their restaurant so don't know if it is even offered. The main drawback was the poor sound insulation. You could hear the neighbours, especially the creaky beds, and dogs barking at night and loud locals early in the morning. Also you need to climb stairs to get to town, not far but enough to put you off going up & down too many times a day! The road at the moment is impassable for cars. Would stay again though with ear plugs!
