The stay was great. The staff was very accommodating even with my limited French...A few spoke some English and helped arrange transportation for me.
The beach was amazing...the water was clear, warm, and relatively calm. For the more adventurous traveler, there is a rocky shore to explore to the West of the beach and also a pathway to the East of the Manganao beach that allows for access to the Raisins Clairs beach. Raisins Clairs beach is a local beach with deeper water and a bit more surf. Aside from Raisins Clairs beach, it is a bit tough to get around to explore. I would recommend renting a car to see more of the area as taxis can get a bit expensive. Most other restaurants would be hard to walk to, especially after sunset.
The rooms were small which didn't matter too much as there are plenty of common areas. They were clean although a bit musky however, which is probably a result of the ambient humidity (our room was full equipped with AC). Wifi is available but can be spotty at times.
The hotel itself is a large complex with many bungalows/structures. The lobby is wonderful and the rest of the grounds are well maintained despite being a bit dated. There is also a restaurant/bar on the premise with quick service and a picturesque view. The menu is limited however, which could get a bit dull for travelers staying for more than a few nights.
