The property had a great dog walking area. The room wqs cleaned daily which was nice because my golden retriever puppy is a messy chewer.

Sub-par - the floor of the poolside restroom was filthy, the hot tub didn't work, there was no lobby coffee or water, the bathroom door handle was nearly falling apart. Staff seemed indifferent when I overheard another customer complaint.

My only complaint is that they charged a $100 deposit on my credit card. They didn't say anything about charging a deposit when we checked in, just asked for the credit card for incidentals should they occur. I'm very familiar with that policy, but this is the first time I was actually charged a "deposit". I was told it would be credited back 2-3 business days after check out. We stayed at the Super 8 in Fairmont less than a month ago and did not have a deposit charged. They should definitely say something at check in about that deposit.
